tend to agree with article. Sport seemed to be so much better years ago, but maybe i am just getting old.
I was way more excited watching fa cup in 1970s and 1980s.
The FA Cup was once viewed as the pinnacle of English football - now it has been robbed of its soul
i followed united as a kid, but now i like seeing smaller clubs win.

pies v dons thursday is a great test for bombers. Will be tough, but here is hoping we can match the pies who played very well today after a slow start.
Footy Fix: The Pies might have embarrassed Port... but they're still not back to their best. Yet
I never thought we would be 4-2 after 6 rounds.
Footy Fix: Ferocious, fast and fantastically coached - stuff the controversy, let's give the Dons the respect they deserve
well done bombers. Hopefully we can beat pies next Thurdsay.

lobb played well
Footy Fix: The Saints were ten times as rubbish as the Dogs were last week - and it's worth working out why
Chanon, i thought we would lose to both saints and dogs so great to be wrong both times.

very true, reasonable consistency over the season counts.

Lions beat Dees well last week, so i think they might still be ok. Top four is key for any team come from finals time.
The data says Brisbane are a flag contender - but the eye test tells a completely different story
Hopefully another win for Sydney
The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 25
Will be interesting to see how both teams finish up. I am just happy Dons have beaten both Dogs and Saints so far.
Footy Fix: The Saints were ten times as rubbish as the Dogs were last week - and it's worth working out why
yep, i do not like bagging any players and coaches for similar reasons, I thought Sheedy was overrated, but he did do reasonably well.
Bevo won a flag and i suppose he will go when the payers stop supporting him.
I hope Dogs win tonite.
Luke Beveridge is on borrowed time - he's an inconsistent coach who gets inconsistent results
i liked the NSL and watching South Melbourne with my greek heritage mates.
Does the A-League have the clout to make a UK-bound event round work in season 2024/25?
Magic rounds r crap. Sorry i has to express my opinion.

Footy Fix: How the Bombers brained the Bulldogs - and Bevo - with their most brutal nine minutes in a decade
I think bombers can be competitive this time around. Apart from port game, which i did not see, bombers appear to be playing with a lot of grit. Hopefully a good start and a bomber win.
Questions to ponder ahead of Round 7: Can Stringer play hero on Anzac Day, and is Port's gun midfield actually their Achilles heel?
