Correct, he doesn’t understand how rare it is to be offered a million dollars, despite being a prop. Anyone would dream to be payed the money he was offered by Brisbane.
Broncos' latest offer should've been enough for Haas
Exactly right Andrew, his management knows that every club would be chasing his signature and likely more than half of them would be willing to offer him a larger contract money wise.
Broncos' latest offer should've been enough for Haas
Brisbane have been behind him since the start of his career and all of a sudden he’s just turned his back on the club that as u referred to, spoiled him. Hass’s management either has another club prepared for him which is willing to pay him larger dollars, or its a power move.
Broncos' latest offer should've been enough for Haas
100 % agree Adam, theres not a single prop in the competition that is worth a million dollars. He’s lucky that the Broncos offered him the 1 mil after 2024. I think he’s believing that he’s worth more than he actually is. When that occurs it doesn’t usually end well as we’ve seen in situations such as Fifita at the Titans who hasn’t proved he is worth the 1.25 mil.
To sum it up, if Broncos were to pay him what he wants, then it has a good chance of ending in a disaster.
Broncos' latest offer should've been enough for Haas
To add to your point, paying 1 million for a prop over that many years is not worth it.
Broncos' latest offer should've been enough for Haas
If they pay the money he wants then all I think it will do is create drama and that’s not what the clubs wants right now. Releasing him is the right decision and our main focus should be on the spine and the rest of the foward pack is quality.
Broncos' latest offer should've been enough for Haas
I agree rubbish surf, paying over a million dollars for a prop is a massive risk, especially in this case as his attitude is not right if he wants to be playing at the broncos. Not once has a player ever been bigger than the club (Brisbane broncos). The right thing at the moment is to let him go elsewhere.
Broncos' latest offer should've been enough for Haas
Yep and moving from there was my best decision
Top three teams in the NRL premiership race
I know it’s weird but the reason is i simply don’t like Townsville and Cowboys fans as i use to live there and they always gave me crap for the 2015 grand final 😂 . The Cowboys failing just gives me happiness for some reason.
Top three teams in the NRL premiership race
As a broncos fan I hope so. Although I can’t get too mad at the entertaining footy there playing at the moment.
Top three teams in the NRL premiership race
Correct, although he is making a strong push for origin, I don’t think he’s quite there yet. Xavier Coates I feel is the better choice at the moment and I wouldn’t complain at all if Corey Oates gets picked as he’s one of my favourite players.
Cobbo stakes Maroons claim, Eels stumble and Cowboys continue to impress in Magic Round
Thats why they would be great partners. A controlled halfback with a good kicking game and a running five-eight usually works out pretty well.
The Dolphins must sign Munster
From a perspective of watching that game live on Friday night, it was ugly. The Knights were barely convincing, however if they can knock off Brisbane this week then things may become partly brighter. However if they get beaten by a fair bit then anything that gave knights fans hope from that doggies game will be gone.
After a Magic win, can Newcastle keep rolling?
If you do i hope you wont regret it!
NRL's top three wooden-spoon contenders after Round 5
You know what i would love to see? I know this has a very low chance on happening, but Bellamy to the Tigers would build such a great story line. It would prove so much about how good of a coach he actually is. Although, obviously he’s one of the greats already, but if he went to Balmain and turned that team around, it would add so much to his legacy.

You may think i’m throwing away my tips Matth, but iv’e tipped a Warriors upset this week 😁

Hello Watda, i haven’t really thought that i mention Souths in many articles. If your a roosters fan then this verdict is obviously fair…
But if this is a genuine opinion then i really don’t understand why you would think Souths will be anywhere near the wooden spoon. I know they have seemed to be playing below standards to be gin the season and their start fullback will be out for 8 weeks. However they are still gelling after Reynolds departure and a new coach. They have actually looked good in parts of this season so far. They are so dangerous when their at their best and i believe their best wont be far away. They a still certainly a top 8 side in my books and too even mention them in the wooden spoon conversation is mind-blowing.

Have you seen Brooks play this season? Usually he would be sent back to local rugby league if it wasn’t for the money he’s on.
NRL's top three wooden-spoon contenders after Round 5
3RM, i highly agree on the Roosters getting treated a-lot better than other clubs in the league. The new proposal rewards a club $100,000 of salary cap relief, in exchange for blooding their own debutants. Of course, the sombrero’s have come out on top of the pile, therefore they will be granted the $100,000 each year.

Compared too other sides at the moment, they will.
NRL's top three wooden-spoon contenders after Round 5
Don’t be surprised if both are cut off even before the end of the season. A couple more horrible performances will have both coaches a knifes edge.

Brisbanes forward pack is still strong.
