can’t see him going to the Titans, as much as I’d love it I can imagine the amount of clubs that would chase after him at that position. If he wants to try prove himself more and put his name on the line Titans is the place to do it, but realistically he has a reputation as a top 3 coach of all time and wouldn’t be a smart career choice to go to Gold Coast. Unless he wants a challenge I’d see him going back to the storm or sticking with the Broncos.

From a club & league perspective, it’s more than fair, it gives clubs such as the titans the ability to gain good players as they’re not able to draw the big names for fair contracts. Also, the pressure for young minds is true, however, it gives young players more publicity and could give us that “fix” we want when there’s no footy.

In the Titans community, he’s still held as a beloved club great, and it’s rare to hear people bag him. I undoubtedly have some bias for him as a Titans supporter though.
Greg Bird will be hated by few but loved by many
his off-field antics definitely hinder his chance at being remembered as an all-time great, but it can’t be understated he was an animal once he hit the turf, and deserves recognition for such. definitely not a good role model, but a memorising player.

As a titans fan, I wish I could say the same about all this, but no history to fall back on, only sorrow. head up, you guys will be back in form in no time.
The 20-20 vision of a Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs supporter
agreed, they don’t have long left until the league gets tired of them. I think we need a draft system to help them too, it works for every league I don’t see why rugby wouldn’t implement it.

it starts with their errors. I’ve been a Titans fan since 07 and they’ve always had an issue with holding onto the ball. If they can bring their completion % up and minimise stupid penalties they could be a competitive side sooner rather than later.

a lot of people still hold Bird to high regard in the Titans’ community, personally never heard much about that incident, probably due to not being found guilty.

DP, Corey Thompson has been in my time line all night for the Titans and it’s even revitalised some of the fans. We definitely are a club with a lot of juniors behind us, clubs such as the Burleigh Bears have been essential for our growth in the past few years. With a new Brisbane club looking eminent, the Titans have been put under the pump for sure, but I think Holbrook will sort the club, personally, a new club would ruin the Titans. They need to give the titans to 2025 at least to see if a new club in Queensland is plausible .
