Wow, so responsive Daniel

The concern for me is that Cheika didn’t include him in the wider squad, going for what I’d refer to as more multi-positional “outside backs” like Petaia and Maddocks who lack the out-and-out pace of “classic” wingers like Speight or Naivalu.

It will be interesting to see if any players outside the current squad make it in…

VOTE: Pick your Wallabies squad for the 2019 Rugby World Cup

The one name I think we need to add to the list above is HENRY SPEIGHT.

I’m concerned by the lack of pace in the squad, apart from Koroibete and Banks.

Speight was excellent for the Brumbies this year, provides some toe but also experience. He is also very good at the breakdown and he doesn’t let the team down in defence.

Can someone feed Simmons a whole box of angry pills please!!!

Michael Cheika sticks solid with winning Wallabies, confirms team for Bledisloe 2

Wright is worth a run.

AAC? What’s the point. Stick to Banks or go for Tevita. AAC won’t (or shouldn’t) be in the RWC squad.

Simmons? Gee that’s going to be the opposite of an impact player off the bench… not sure who else we have though…

Michael Cheika sticks solid with winning Wallabies, confirms team for Bledisloe 2

I don’t think that’s fair, nor borne out by the evidence. But hey, it’s a free world and you are entitled to your opinion

Why Australia's Bledisloe Game 1 wonders are unlikely to be repeated in Auckland

Yes Eoin Toolan is a smart rugby analyst. He was on the Rugby Ruckus podcast a few weeks back, always brings interesting insights to the table.

All Blacks only see the red in a Wallabies bolt from the blue

LSL needs to continue to knuckle down. He was better on Saturday but I’m not yet fully convinced he is our best option at 6.

He needs to also hit the defensive line with lower body height… he is a choke tackle turnover waiting to happen

What we know after the Wallabies' stunning Bledisloe 1 win

I know Wales are a group opponent of Australia, but I’m genuinely disappointed for Wales about this.

Biggar is a quality option at 10, mind you

Wales dealt huge blow with Anscombe ruled out of World Cup

Ok I’ll bite. Sanchez impression? Pppfffft

Wallabies beat All Blacks after dominant second half in Bledisloe 1

Totally agree. For all the chat about our backs, without guys like arnold coming to the fore we are nothing. He is a beast and has come on so well in 2019.

VOTE: Wallabies DIY player ratings from Bledisloe 1

I thought Arnold was immense. I’d be giving him 9.

I could watch this all day and all night

Samu Kerevi roasts Beauden Barrett as Wallabies run riot in Perth

Agreed. Hard to disagree with the red, no arms, to the head, with force. Where’s the controversy?

Wallabies beat All Blacks after dominant second half in Bledisloe 1

Nice and salty mate. Good on ya.

Frankly the ABs looked below their best in the 1st half, the Wallabies had better zip through Nic White and the defence was excellent.

Of course next week is a different game, Eden Park will be a massive challenge and the ABs will be boiling mad. But the signs at last look good, and long-suffering Wallabies fans will take that every day of the week.

See what you are saying PK but does TK cover wing as well? If not, quite a luxury to have him on bench

James O'Connor confirmed to start in Bledisloe 1 as Wallabies make shock change at hooker

Even more evidence that Lukhan at 6 is the wrong answer to the question. Needs to be fixed, and fast

How the Wallabies are cleaning house under Shaun Berne

Yes I noticed that.

Frankly IF’s rank hypocrisy “I love rugby… i would happily walk away from my contract etc” is offensive in the extreme, and rugby lovers should be (and generally are) appalled by the damage he has done and continues to do to our game.

How the Wallabies are cleaning house under Shaun Berne

We aren’t running him down per se, we are just deflating some of the air that you’ve pumped into him…

A statistical look at the Wallabies' wing options

“The legend that is Wendall”…?

In his own lunchbox. I wouldn’t group the Big Dell with your other leading wingers.

A statistical look at the Wallabies' wing options

Yes. And it will be CLL at Eden Park, and when the WBs get caned he will get thrown in front of the bus. Cheika 101

Michael Cheika has found his Wallabies team, now he has to stick to it for the World Cup

Yeah I thought they worked well. I’d give LiLo the start at 10 vs the ABs.

Nz have foley worked out.

Wallabies chip away in Argentina Test win

I’ll say it again, Lukhan S-L is not a 6. He was poor tonight after a quiet game vs the Boks.

Poor hands, doesn’t appear to do too much work, ponderous in attack. Can’t understand how he continues to run on at 6. Super sub for 4/5/6 at best for me.

No Pocock (NoCock?)… I’m assuming no news on him is bad news

Christian Lealiifano headlines raft of changes to Wallabies team for Argentina clash

Do we assume Aaaaaaaaaaaalatoa and Pete Samu are both still injured?

Christian Lealiifano headlines raft of changes to Wallabies team for Argentina clash

Yep – Fardy (though he is arguably in the twilight of his career), Skelton, Liam Gill, Sean McMahon.

And then obviously the huge contingent heading off shore next year – Kerevi, Rory Arnold etc
