A passionate sports fan who enjoys watching my Demons, Eels, and Rockets. Often watching the Dees play over a couple of beers. I enjoy the analysis and fantasy that the thrill of sports can provide.

1985 also brought 4 Hall of Famers in their draft class

NBA draft: 1984 redrafted

All the rounds with a possible wrap up of finals predictions based on my home and away predictions, plus brownlow and coleman medal predictions included in the wrap up.

AFL ladder predictions: Round 3

The Swans are away round 1, at home in round 2. The Crows are at home round 1, away round 2. And they are that way in the articles and on the official AFL fixture.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Wojcinski . He missed the 2008 grand final loss to Hawthorn, played 07′, 09′, and 11′.

1998 AFL draft reorder: Picks 11 to 20

I think keep it the way it is. If the teams are good enough on the day, then they will win, hence why Richmond won yesterday. Because they were good enough to beat Adelaide on the day.

Is it time for a best of three grand final series?

We all saw that coming – going to be interesting to see how it all pans out

Gary Ablett shocks everyone, requests trade to Geelong

David C, it is an early prediction, and I have no doubt that my early predictions will change following the trade period and draft, and once the fixture comes out.

Carlton season review and possible trades 2017

Macca – I’m a Demons fan and correct, my rating has nothing to do with club standards.

Peter – The club is in the second year of their rebuild, and there were plenty of positives. They had plenty of positives despite losing less games. They had five losses by over 60+ points last year. They changed that to three 60+ losses this year.Almost every way you look at Carlton, there is a bright future. If they’re still in the bottom four in two years time, it’ll be a different view, but at this stage, the young Blues are on the right track in their rebuild.

Carlton season review and possible trades 2017

There are idiots who bag out they’re team all the time. It’s disgraceful! I go for the Demons and left several facebook groups because I didn’t want to hear and see negativity of our poor finish to the season every time I logged on. I don’t yell at the players at the game, I support them with all my heart. When the Dees lose despite being favourites pre-match, I say to family in the house or at the game ‘Well, that’s disappointing,’ have it in the back of mind thinking about it, then move on the following day. I don’t really care if we go in underdogs to the game and lose. I have no doubt that people say to other mates about their teams loss ‘well that was disappointing’,without bagging out players when they have a poor play. There are probably plenty of dees fans still dwelling on missing finals, I’m just like ‘well, that was gutwrenching’, moved on after a day, focus on other teams and the trade period and draft and look to next season. It’s alright to be honest about disappointment in your team, but do it an appropriate way, never in a way where your threatening and bagging out your own teams player.

Is it just me or are West Coast supporters the worst?

The Eagles need to go into rebuild mode, otherwise the development of their younger guys will be disrupted by lack of opportunity, and they will have a longer period of time down the bottom

One last roll of the dice for the Eagles?

The Cats, don’t get me wrong, are a fantastic team, but their best 22 between 2007-2011 was simply better than their current team. And the fact that they have a reliance on Dangerwood doesn’t help their case in finals, teams can easily tag one of them out of the game and it means they have less quality personel in their team when that happens

What happened to the Cats who dominated September?

Agree with Liam Hulett and Mitch White’s delisting, Jack Trengove I feel sorry for, his career was ruined by his foot injury, and Jake Spencer was very unlucky and I don’t think he should have been. It leaves their ruck stocks very thin with Max Gawn, Cam Pedersen, Mitch King, and Lachie Flipovic. Leaves them very thin if they have a horrible run in the ruck injuries again next year. They’ll need to recruit one of two back-up ruckmen for sure

Demons axe former skipper Jack Trengove

Agree with you 100%,

There is no need for golden point in the AFL

Nah, I believe that the Eagles can definitely beat the Giants if they beat Port, however, keep in mind regardless of whether Geelong or Richmond win, the prelim final will likely be at the MCG. Can’t see the AFL scheduling Geelong at Simonds Stadium

AFL finals predictions: Week 1

Yes, apologies, my mistake – will get that fixed

Why Stevie J shouldn't have been dropped

Yes, he deserves to award the Norm Smith Medal. Why? Because it’s his turn. No other previous Norm Smith Medallist has been denied the right to award the Norm Smith Medal, therefore Hird should, regardless of his previous history in the Essendon drugs saga.

Should James Hird really present the Norm Smith Medal?

Fair point, he would have been on track to get 12-14 disposals which wouldn’t have been his worst performance of the season.

How North’s blueprint stole Rory Sloane’s Brownlow Medal

Round 17 against Melbourne where you say he only gained eight disposals and no marks, he was off the ground for almost half the game with concussion

How North’s blueprint stole Rory Sloane’s Brownlow Medal

Liam, I tend to disagree with your analysis of Bontempelli not being the captain of the Dogs following what will likely be Easton Wood. He has shown that he can perform under increased scrutiny. He payed well under pressure throughout the finals series, and, besides Wood, is probably the most capable of carrying the role of the captain.

The five-years-from-now Bulldogs are scary as all hell

What is the source of this?

Hawthorn's favourite son to become a favourite Sun?
