Agreed, I think it’ll take time and lots of trial and error in the end to get VAR up and working, but it will never be perfect, as it is in the end still a subjective decision.

Yeah I don’t think VAR is a witch hunt against a couple A-League teams, I just think some referees obviously don’t understand it nearly as much as others, and that leads to some teams getting screwed over just due to bad luck over who is refereeing their games.

Fair enough, I was just thinking if the Chinese league tried to put an Australian team in their comp I think their would be heavy opposition to it from Australians. Your point on Singapore sounds good.

The attack looks quite decent, but I think the back line needs a bit of work. Down the flanks, Kuwait in the second half especially looked dangerous, and teams like Japan and South Korea will punish us for that. Very promising signs though.

I agree, Keogh’s first move was to turn around and look at the linesman. Also, the penalty awarded to Sydney FC vs Central Coast was incredibly soft. Yet more proof something needs to be done.
