The blues were fantastic Saturday. You had four blokes out against the roos, and one of them was Kreuzer, correct? No hope. Lambs to the slaughter.

The blues are very much like the pies 2016-2017 period. We were in games, but could never finish them. Examples for me, would be blues against gold coast, hawthorn, and now Collingwood on Saturday.

The blues back winning games is great for the competition. They have such a wonderful history, aside from the salary cap infractions.

Collingwood’s ballistic bursts give them the competition’s highest ceiling

Peter are you on any other platforms? I’d like to follow you. I know we are proud Collingwood, but I found your optimism prior to the preliminary final last year, extremely comforting.

Shane Bond though. Forget Binga. Could you imagine if the bloke stayed fit, or decided to forego a career as a Copper? I can’t hate on the bloke. Just puts an exclamation on a Kiwi side, that was always a dark horse.

Lessons learned from Australia's World Cup failures

Don’t worry mate. The pain you have with Bevan, is the same as I have had with watching Kohli, Dhoni, Sharma or Dharwan chase down 300 plus on majority of occasions. Who am I kidding. Every team chases 300 and wins against the Aussies. Uh geez…..

They also had a couple of blokes get eighties in that match against the Dutch. It’s a bit hard if you have twin hundreds and three hundred plus in that era scored against you. But to get 256 was a respectable way to sign off. Cricket is definitely on the world stage now.

When Namibia held their own against England at the World Cup

NOOOOIIIIICCCCEEEEE GAAAARRRRRYYYYYY!!!! Power are a quality side. A thirteen scoring shot to three first term is hard to come back from, and to get back to within three goals had me very nervous. Magpies had a few passengers tonight. Thought Reidy played okay, but Coxy is a long term prospect. Darcy More is an absolute jet at the moment. He was marking everything, and rebounding from defense like a man possessed. I don’t even know where this has come from, nor why they played him down back. Looking forward to taking on the old enemy, in a week’s time.

Adams injured, Magpies thrash Power

All will be forgiven if Sammy can play above her station, and help the great Ash Barty pull of the upset.

Gavrilova is definitely no mug with a tennis racquet either.

Giddy up girls!!

Where's the love for the Fed Cup?

Concession to be fair. Although Aussie rules has the oldest organised competition in the world, William Webb Ellis carried a soccer ball at Rugby School in 1848, ten years before Thomas Wills pioneered the southern code.

There is also little evidence I can find about Indigenous Australians kicking a possum skin around but for word of mouth. League is better than union, and wins this tiebreaker.

Melbourne will never be in thrall to rugby league, and that's marvellous

You are talking about the Age mate. The intellectual yuppies don’t read anything but politics, and about the value of their shares. Plus really, who wants to read a paper folded over and within itself a half a dozen times? Forget it. Herald Sun every time.

What a refreshing perspective.

I myself will forego the Storm for the Maggies, but it still hurt losing to East’s in that Grand Final, and how Cronk got up and walked.

It is true if you asked the locals here, they know as much as the Seagulls about NRL, but will gladly check the back page to see if we have beaten the teams from north of Wodonga, and then go about their week.

As for the two teams you had to pick between, I would not despair. The Saints beat the Hawks last week, and the Dees made a preliminary final last year. But, Google would have told you all that already, right? ????
