If it’s an unintentional header shouldn’t it be accidental offside?

Finals Five: Raiders heading into next week after Kris falcon - but did Melbourne actually win?

Hi Barry

Always respect and am interested in your comments.

That said I think you are off the mark re Burgess’ contract. He signed an extension and upgrade but prior to this was signed up to the end of 2019. No team was disadvantaged in signing him (apart from Souths!) as he was already signed to end of 2019.

So had he signed elsewhere at end of last year to start 2020 at a new club according to you that new club should have to wear it?

Semi on half: Radradra reportedly eyeing cut-price NRL return

This thing about drifting out of games is a beat up coming from Origin.
I can’t think many centres who are always ‘in the game’ mostly they need play to come their way however I’ve seen few that can execute like he does when he’s got the chance.
Yes he has to improve his defence and work rate , he’s 22! No shortage of people trying to cut Latrell down

Latrell wants to play fullback: Robinson

All the roosters fans happy to see him go.. Yeah maybe his work rate isn’t the highest but who sets up the try in the grand final? Roosters didn’t look likely up til then

Roosters withdraw Latrell offer

Gutted.
Great player with so much heart and love for the club. Irreplaceable.

Sam Burgess confirms injury-forced retirement

Hey normally love your articles, have to question your medical expertise.
Which specialists did you consult with to determine the injury was pre existing?

If Sam Burgess retires, South Sydney must pay the price

So based on this team of the year based on best in their position
Fullback- Tedesco
Wingers – Ferguson, Tupou
Centres- Mitchell, Manu
5/8- Keary
HB- DCE
Hooker – Hodgson
Props – Taumalolo, Taupau
2nd Row- Cordner, Kikau (Did not select burgess as finished in the middle)
Lock – Cam Murray

Great team but Jake Turbo should be higher than Tapau!

The top 50 NRL players of 2019: 10-1

I’m a bunny’s supporter and burgess is my favourite player we’ll never forget all he has done and hope that this is not the end!
Talk of a salary cap impairment if he has to retire is insane. I really don’t believe Souths signed him To an extension last year with a possible retirement at just 31 in mind.. like GI he’s irreparable so it’s crazy to further disadvantage the club. As I said earlier hopefully he plays on and this is a moot point.

Sam Burgess is causing a big headache for the Rabbitohs and the NRL

I have written before that I don’t understand why Sydney teams aren’t having a closer look at Perth. If for example Manly moved to Perth I’m sure with support of the NRL they could move 2 or 3 home games back to Brookie
As well as that their fans would have the opportunity to see them play at least 6 away games against Sydney clubs.

They would need some serious funding from NRL to aid relocation promote the club in Perth and avoid player exodus but from a fan perspective it’s far preferable to extinction still offering 9 games in Sydney.

NRL expansion: How could they pull it off?

Why is everyone going on about the McInnes pen.
Dragons got the lead shortly afterwards.
Latimore was lucky not to be sin binned for taking Campbell Graham’s legs out , no contest for the ball and reckless in my view

Seven talking points from South Sydney Rabbitohs vs St George Illawarra Dragons NRL semi-final

They should do a similar event at the new parra stadium

Oops! NRL's "magic round" at Suncorp double-booked with Super Rugby

Always look forward to your wrap up at the end of each round. Do you think that Souths could be a top 4 team?

Nine talking points from NRL Round 9

JC & TB if they hate Souths or whoever they will get to support their team when they come to Perth and cheer against Souths or whoever

The ideal model for NRL expansion is relocation

Agree with this. Research could determine if there is strong support for any particular team.

The ideal model for NRL expansion is relocation

Souths was just an example as they have been playing a few matches in Perth over the last few years. Could be any Sydney team.

The ideal model for NRL expansion is relocation

Adam, the Swans weren’t born in Sydney.

The ideal model for NRL expansion is relocation

Hey Peeko, thanks for reading. The point of this piece is not so much to increase attendance but rather as a strategy to grow the game and increase presence in Perth.
