Marnus, like Smith seems to be a very intense guy and it obviously rattled him.

I guess this is the problem with the way the world has become. Everyone wants everything yesterday with all the bells and whistles. There is no interest in appreciating and recognising hard graft and overcoming adversity.
Sod that, entertain me or get left behind!! It is a rubbish attitude that has created a generation of spoilt brats who think they are owed.
The fact that people can make millions playing games of actual sports that they don’t have the talent to play, and worse that people will pay to watch them, makes my blood boil.

Why do people care about the Comm games? Seriously? We have the Olympics and the World Champs along with countless other events throughout the year.
Why do we still feel the need to pay fealty to the “motherland” (really the oppressors who raped and pillaged every country that competes)??
I for one don’t want to see any state waste there money on it. If the UK wants to keep the Comm games going, then let them host it every 4 years themselves.
For the rest of the countries, how about we use the cash to improve education and healthcare.
The Comm games are an out dated concept from a bygone era. Good riddance I say.
And for those carrying on about Australia’s reputation in the sporting world re hosting events, I will point you to the Women’s World Cup currently underway which is being lauded globally!!!
