The greatest thing about cricket is that opinions are so utterly diverse. The fact that Afridi’s was in a longer innings could be interpreted many different ways. Really, the two are probably done a disservice through comparing them, they are similar in lots of ways, but equally they are completely opposite in others. As I said, Corey did exactly what was required of him for the team cause, so the only thing we can really do is just appreciate how good he was and enjoy such a remarkable feat, circumstances being somewhat irrelevant when you consider the enormity of his achievement.
