Didn’t even read the article but know this. When a ball BLATENTLY hits another player, so that the players actually saw it happen and tell the umpire, how about the umpire go to the footage to confirm it and call it as touched. The footage was there (not the one that flicked his hair, there’s another angle which shows the ball clearly change path after hitting Aish in the arm/shoulder.) That’s all I’ll say.

Footy Fix: No, the umpires didn't gift Carlton the game - but Freo sure did

No issue for me, the umpires actions weren’t in question and the game did end in a farce. Change it out for ridiculous, laughable, shambles. All words describing it being farcical, which it was.

'It's bouncing ridiculously': BBL clash ends in farce as Geelong pitch deemed unsafe just six overs in

Because they want to expand the product into other markets such as regional Victoria and they’ve tied the Renagades to Geelong. They have played in Geelong before, that’s not the issue, or at least it hasn’t been. Other stadiums without roofs manage to have covers that don’t leak. This was pure incompetence of the GMHBA stadium groundskeepers to lay out pitch covers that leaked or were incorrectly laid out, whatever the issue was as I’ve heard conflicting statements. What an embarassing failure for Geelong. This match should’ve been rescheduled in Perth where the pitch covers that don’t leak wouldn’t be needed because it has a summer sky that doesn’t rain. For best results, don’t send teams down to that depressing excuse for a cricket ground in Geelong ever again.

One of the dumbest comments made by a commentator when Maxwell was on 116 and hit another boundary. From the female commentator: “The boundaries may be small here but when he’s hitting it that sweet it doesn’t matter.”

Glenn the Greatest - ever! Maxwell's magnificent double-ton rescues Aussies, stuns Afghanistan in WC epic

I just find it more impressive when it’s little old WA representing so much of the national team.

Mitch craft: Marsh continues incredible start to T20 captaincy career as Aussies double down on Proteas

Over half the side are Scorchers/WA! How often does a national team have over half the players from one state?

“Australia 4/116 with a lead of 47”
They lead by 142 do they not?

SevenTEENth heaven: Warner Broad's bunny again as Smith, Marnus brain fades leave Ashes in Marsh's hands

Why are the options dwindled down to heroic or pointless? It wasn’t either of those. It was being selfless and loyal to the team.

'Biggest load of rubbish': Starc catch controversy fires up McGrath as Aussies on verge of victory after Lyon's heroic knock

This bazball bs feels like some sort of out for England, distancing them from their own performance.
“Well, it was that rather silly damn bazball that cost us. We were oh so admirable in adopting it, however we certainly won’t be doing that again! It just doesn’t deliver as promised. We shall go back to our tried and proven way of winning next time.”

“Poms round on ‘kamikaze’ Bazball”
…strange headline. The Poms round on it. They round on bazball. Hmm ok.

Interested to know how true your statement that most of the GWS crowds are neutrals or opposition supporters is? Sounds made up.

Welcome Tasmania, but the AFL should be a 16-team competition so three clubs must go

How weak of them to do this under the cover of the Collingwood v Calton game.

Dons dump Truck: 'Uncompetitive' season sees Rutten sacked as Essendon coach

They’ve had prime opportunities to win finals at home and blew it. Chances to go deep into finals when the GF was going to be on their home deck and blew it. Feels like the moment has passed for them tbh.

AFL Friday Footy Fix: Melbourne prove it's still their flag to lose as Zorko's 'faux tough' Lions get humiliated

Nah I reckon there would be plenty of nervous Cats fans if they have to play Freo. Not nervous of Freo beating the Cats (yeah right! As if that’s ever happened in a big final), but of the Cats losing to Freo!????

AFL Finals LIVE: All eyes on Blues and Pies as Dogs ask the question, Freo's top-four fate hangs in the balance

Freo also need Brisbane to drop a game to jump into 4th. It could be their game vs Melbourne.

Double chance up for grabs as Swans and Pies clash in another pre-finals blockbuster

Swings and roundabouts. There was a period of 10 years where 8 premiers were non Victorian and that was with an even more lopsided ratio of more Victorian teams. Thanks for showing us that 9 out of 10 is 90% lol.

There’s not going to be any rain. Checked the bom app for Burswood. Predicting 0mm all day. Chance of rain in the southern suburbs.

“Fremantle’s engine room is sure to not let a repeat of their horror first half against the Saints reoccur.”
Geez Freo are going alright if a horror away game entire first half sees them 8 points down lol.

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Round 18

Interesting you have Melbourne above Freo. Fremantle have more wins against top 8 opponents.

AFL power rankings: A disturbance in the force

Their depth has been tested a couple of times this year. They failed the test.

'I'm sure someone will put their hand up': Demons depth to be tested

There’s a new threat for the flag every week.????

AFL Saturday Study: Cats and Tigers brilliant, but brutal Blues are Melbourne's biggest threat for the flag

I wouldn’t have known Freo/North were a part of the article had I not read down. Maybe need to mention it in the headline somewhere. Just an idea.

AFL Friday Footy Fix: Injury carnage hurt, but Dogs' diabolical defence really cost them on Friday night

Wow. Getting the game back on their terms after conceding the first 3 goals, on a notoriously hard ground to win at where they have a terrible record, keeping Geelong goaless for 52mins, keeping them to their lowest score there in decades, key first choice forward, midfielder and ruckman out. I don’t care who says it, that was a great win. Of course there are improvements to be made but that just underlines how well they’re travelling right now.
