Hey Brendon the 1st another Collingwood post, whats the count up to now!!Get to work on that article

Collingwood: More spin than Shane Warne

Looks bleak at the moment, they could bundle picks 14 and 16 together and move down the order of the draft and strike gold,by all reports the garage sale they are having might net them Merrett next year and also have Daicos coming next year[projected pick 1] things can turn very quickly

Nathan Buckley's position may no longer be tenable

Yeah, can’t go both, think Crows will take Mcdonald, they desperate for a forward

The fallacies behind Collingwood's trade reasoning

Yep,swannies needed a ruckman and new Barrass was coming, got both

The fallacies behind Collingwood's trade reasoning

I believe Ross Thomson post above could be correct,it is nearly down to the cross all the T’s and dot the I’s in the Wingard and Polec scenario that played out a couple of years ago at Port.Think Port realized then the list was not going to take them forward to where they want to get,on top of that there was reports of angst within the playing group regarding Wingard and Polec, these things dont happen overnight, they manifest over time.Port moved on it and think Collingwood might be doing something similar. That’s my opinion from a outsider looking in,Collingwood lost out big on the deals but for the future probably the right call.

Nathan Buckley's position may no longer be tenable

So list build not quite complete yet Dougie, you should checkout Fremantles array of small forwards and see if you cant pry one out of there

I would grade Collingwood a Q+

AFL trades 2020 report card: Every club graded

Treloar was never going to get collingwood and good return with all the noise going around and a contract like that and only 1 club interested in him,Wingard had dogs going hard after him as well, perhaps another club also if my memory serves me correctly

Nathan Buckley's position may no longer be tenable

Think you guys have a good one coming in [by all reports]Barrass I think his name is,think perhaps that had alot to do with him leaving

The fallacies behind Collingwood's trade reasoning

yep, great pick up,get Jones draft is a big tick.Hearing they want to use him as a Intercept defender type, kinda like how jeremy mcgovern plays by the sounds of it,think it will be a week to week thing with him on match ups and so on

The fallacies behind Collingwood's trade reasoning

yep, first thing I noticed, lol. Sit down and write a piece so we have something else to comment on

The fallacies behind Collingwood's trade reasoning

Just checking in to see if everything is ok PTS,if you need to talk just give us a call if you want, many good non for profit organization’s like beyond blue and lifeline are available 24/7.Hope you doing well

Nathan Buckley's position may no longer be tenable

Will never know the real reasons, your post is nearly like a carbon copy of what I was hearing when Port moved on Chad Wingard and Jared Polec

Nathan Buckley's position may no longer be tenable

That is True Dougie, but the real high end ones are good to go..Rowell Walsh etc

AFL trades 2020 report card: Every club graded

Maybe in the past, not now. They have many super duper players that can play any position on the ground, have all areas covered.Do not understand why their premiership odds are 50/1 to win the flag

Nathan Buckley's position may no longer be tenable

I wouldn’t Birdman. Can’t see the point,Essendon are not even close to contending, they will struggle to kick a winning score, have key position players like Hurley etc getting on.IMO they should go to the draft and then once they get back into finals then I would look at doing a deal like that, they could then use a 1st rounder which is around pick 12 and try then get something around pick 18 or 19 to do a Dunkley type deal, that is still 2 first rounders and would be fairer,no way in hell would I use 7 or 8 to do that deal

AFL trades 2020 report card: Every club graded

Yeah, could have dont think he will be getting much game time TBH,probably should have gone to crows maybe for better opportunity

AFL trades 2020 report card: Every club graded

Yep nail those picks it could have a massive impact on your club, have a feeling you will Bid on Lachie Jones with 1 of them,we are ready for it

AFL trades 2020 report card: Every club graded

I would take 6,7 and 8 to the draft chuck ,especially with where your list is at.

You can have Fantasia for a 1st rounder Dougie 😊 😊

The tyranny of the Magpies

The tyranny of the Magpies

get rowell you might get anderson also

The tyranny of the Magpies

I would grade Aliir Aliir a A for Port, not that he is a A grade player but on a needs basis he is exactly what we need, has some height is 10kg heavier than our other defenders and has a great leap and great agility and speed, also very versatile,in a side that was ranked 1st or 2nd in points against…perfect.
Fantasia well….C-
