'Makes no sense': Khawaja slams ICC charge over first Test armband protest as Albanese goes into bat for opener
Yeah beat me too it. May not have heard ump. Maybe. May be. Be surely he saw him. Pretty arrogant. The commentators sometimes try not to burn bridges with players that d guess. But I think ‘so what?’ Comment and burn, baby barn

I always would have loved to do an afro, even today, it’d crack me up (not counting perming it, lol).
Australia’s quartet of quality will soon be most prolific in Test history - but never the greatest
It’d surely be a team thing more then an individual sport thing, ‘your’ idea of the best team, bowler, batsmen. Also I’d guess because ‘selection’ is such I big part of it, not much selection in tennis, you thinking you can do as good/better. Baseball has that doesn’t it, they have a big team list

League does, I think afl do. I don’t follow soccer and union really at all. Tennis yeah. Which sports do you think don’t?

He divided his time between touring with the windies team and touring with in Hall and Oates. You got to commit to one

That’s what I remember, him not really resting

Oh yeah I hadn’t thought of that. Good one. Our states carry on. Imagine half a dozen countries

Yeah maybe a little, but still skilled, possibly a bit of the batsman thinking ‘make hay’. I always wanted him in my ‘wacky style’ team. Strange bowling actions, batsman with funny stances. Who was that bowler that was wrong footed, mid late 70’s, maybe South African. I can still see his action

Golly, In my mind I’d imagine it being 40 or so, haha. Great stats tempo.

I always wondered if in the past when working a job, training, professional and the level aimed at below test level wasn’t the thing as series maybe, the w.i.’s had this raw crazy talent ahead of other countries. Other countries got into training (not saying w.i.’s didn’t train, but training at lower level) and over took the ‘all natural talent’ guys.

Was he the one with the bad knees?

Oh no, no. Loved the guy. Him being ‘different’ (to the pace and brain’s) certainly help that bowling team I think and a big heart, he had a great ave from memory and got wickets but not sure batsman feared facing him, physically or such. I’m sort of going by judging it as that third or and fourth bowler could walk into another team and would be the first or second bowler (not counting minnows) or if the two main guys were out, how’d the team look and perform. Excellent first change, maybe the lillee, thomo, Maxwell and whoever misses longevity. Not many hood them as high as the w.i.’s. Maybe them not having a Warne or Lyon spinner lowered them. I alway dreamed of lillee, thomo, Hogg and Pascoe hammering all like the w.i.’s, age, injury and form. Lol. It like the Pakistan twins of 90’s, I dreamed of them getting a third and forth bowler

Each one individually would be the head guy in most any other team. All cracking ave’s from memory, early to mid 20’s, not 30 or so. But my memory isn’t best

Ha same

Totally. Then it almost the personal preference of a pace quartet vs a quartet with a spinner incl.

Two speedsters vs three or four, it seems the more gets the fans ideas going, no rest for the batsman, sort of hurts a team including the spinner, the batsman gets a rest. Maybe a reason why Warne was up there, had the skill to freak batsman out. If lillee and Thompson had a third or fourth quick, not even on their level but a Gillespie or lee (no offence to those guys) lillee and thomo be even crazier

Oh yeah. Monsters!! Apart from the bowling skill with those two, it was the physical extremes. Garnered height vs Marshall’s height snd style, both intelligent, but to me marshal’s bowling brains were next level. Like other bowling groups, having a variety of differences. A left hander, a swing, a seamer, tall or shorter…

I think I’m with you on every one.
Bazball, Warner, Bodyline - when it comes to polarising topics, cricket is a Rorschach test like no other
