They didn’t deserve a decision. The referee had a top match. But this game had two sides trying to play football and not resort to cynical tactics. Admittedly, there was an occasional push and shove. Yeah no shame in that performance by Brisbane. They got overrun by a champion team – and we can use those terms. Brisbane didn’t do a whole lot wrong. But any chance Penrith were given in that last 17 mins, they took. Thanks to both sides really. The game was played in pretty good spirit. A push and shove here and there. The fact that the ref let things flow and best of all no bunker garbage, contributed to a fast free flowing match.
