A bit quirky, a little chaotic, sometimes fiery and controversial, but a geniune lover of everything satirical in sport. I also love a great serious news story that sparks a lively debate. I'm also not afraid to say what I feel. On Twitter @edgarslosh Its mayhem

The (far too early) 2016 AFL ladder
Betts wanted to get out of Carlton, can you blame him? Thompson wasn’t wanted by Melbourne. Jacobs was being overlooked at Carlton. Both Cheney and Lowden were told they weren’t required.
Hawks' duo Brian Lake and David Hale retire
Only 3 ruckmen invited to the draft combine. Mabior Chol, Andre Parrella, Mitchell King plus there is Kyle Galloway who at 206cm is raw but has a future
Hawks' duo Brian Lake and David Hale retire
So they’ll do what they always do, poach a promising player from another team instead of recruiting one and nurturing his talent. The Hawks seem to do this especially with rucks. Rehn, Everitt, Salmon, etc
Hawks' duo Brian Lake and David Hale retire
Ah, I wish I was so optimistic about it. You refer to Carlton and Essendon as inherently rich. Perhaps 15 years ago. Yes they made a mess of it, but the new rich revolves around Hawks, Cats, Pies and Swans.
They are the ones that will become he big 4. It has already begun in the last decade and will only get stronger of the AFL don’t take action
The AFL’s grand final 'problem'
The Hawk juggernaut will continue as long as they can utilize free agency and poaching of other players deemed key to the rise of other clubs. Sydney have used the money ball experiment to great effect and Geelong now look set to try it.
What fans are tired of seeing are these same clubs in the last decade monopolizing the competition.
It’s only going to get worse as younger players look to go to clubs who are experiencing success and want to cash in on it. The seeds of a potential premier league disaster have already been sown.
The AFL’s grand final 'problem'
And as I have been saying for the past few months, the door is open for Jake Carlisle to walk straight in.
Hawks' duo Brian Lake and David Hale retire
Should this surprise us that the Poms have done it? They were probably pleading for help.

nothing wrong with saying it how I see it. too many PC people in the world making it miserable for the rest of us.
Hawthorn smash West Coast to win the 2015 AFL Grand Final
West Coast started gaining momentum in the third quarter. The match wasn’t over then. They had chances. Darren Jarman didn’t get the medal in 97 when he kicked 5 last quarter goals. McLeod got it for a 4 quarter effort
Player ratings from the AFL grand final
A hard pill to swallow. But they will come again. Once their injured defenders return they will be stronger
Bad day at the office for Eagles
Mitchell was 10/10. It was his best game ever. He deserved the Medal more than any other player.
Player ratings from the AFL grand final
My votes would have been
3 – Mitchell – completely shut down WC’s half forward line
2 – Frawley – Stopped Kennedy and rebounded beautifully
1 – Smith – devastating on the wing
Rioli had 1 good quarter as usual. Mitchell was dead set unlucky.
I don’t bag the Hawks. I just think the way they lure other teams talent away makes a mockery of the competition.
Player ratings from the AFL grand final
I’m not negative, I’m a realist.
Hawthorn smash West Coast to win the 2015 AFL Grand Final
Totally agree. The competition is so rigged now to keep teams on top and make it so hard for those who try and fail
Hawthorn smash West Coast to win the 2015 AFL Grand Final
Rioli didn’t deserve the medal. It has devalued what it means.
Player ratings from the AFL grand final
Like your way of thinking but common sense isn’t a pre-requisite for recruiters and officials
The top 60 AFL draft prospects of 2015
He has waited 9 years to tell the story and ironically a former Hawk waits until Grand Final week to dish the dirt? Methinks there’s a touch of subterfuge behind this.
I’m growing tired of hearing about football exploits off the field instead of what happens on the field.
Chick's claims prompt furious backlash
Oliver is rated by recruiters as an outside player. Burton was deemed by the club to have a knee injury. He actually broke his knee. Therefore a knee injury. Thanks for reading
