A bit quirky, a little chaotic, sometimes fiery and controversial, but a geniune lover of everything satirical in sport. I also love a great serious news story that sparks a lively debate. I'm also not afraid to say what I feel. On Twitter @edgarslosh Its mayhem

Its ports turn to start at the Adelaide Oval. There’s an agreement in place

I’m not sure how to react to this but good job putting some thought into something thats a bit left field.

The requests are in, so how should Round 1 of AFL 2016 play out?

Geelong have absolutely no depth left. They will struggle in the next 5 years, perhaps longer

Don't write off the Cats in 2016

He is an A in my book, but by himself this year he was a B. He doesnt have the help around him which is why I dropped him a ranking

Don't write off the Cats in 2016

Lets have a real look at what Geelong look like. Next year they will finish around 10th-12th even with Dangerfield in the side.
Tom Hawkins(B+); Mitch Clark (B); Nathan Vardy (B+); Daniel Menzel (B); Bartel (B+) and Josh Walker (C).
Hawkins is a B-, Clark is an F. Vardy and Menzel have been injured for 3 years. 1 game doesnt make them a B. How about we try a C or D, Bartel is a C and Walker is a D

Joel Selwood (A); Dangerfield (A); Steven Motlop (B+); Mitch Duncan (B+); Josh Caddy (B) and Cameron Guthrie (B).
Selwood alone is a B, Dangerfield is an A because of the environment he is in now, Motlop is a C at best, Duncan can’t get a game so how you have him at a B+ is anyones guess. According to his own coach he is more like a D. Caddy and Guthrie are also a D

Corey Enright (A); Harry Taylor (A); Tom Lonergan (A); Andrew Mackie (B); Lachie Henderson (B+); Jake Kolodjashnij (C+) and Jed Bews (C+)

Enright was an A about 3 years ago. He’s more like a C- now, Taylor is a B- and Lonergan is a C. Henderson is a C and the last 2 thankfully you have right.

Even your rucks look shaky. As for the depth, there is none. You have turned over 16 players in the last 2 years.

Geelong won’t be playing finals in the next 5 years. Enjoy Dangerfield, I can guarentee he won’t be nearly as effective in a team near the bottom of the ladder

Geelong are going to have to give up draft picks and a player for both Henderson and Dangerfield. You can say goodbye to your first round draft picks for the next 2 years and the second round draft pick for this year. That gives you a 3rd round pick around 50 which will bring nothing much to the club at that stage. Perhaps a project player.

Yes, the author must be a geelong supporter to think his team, who have to give up the chance to recruit any talent for 2 years. is better than what it actually is.

Way to over react. I wouldn’t get too worried, they will come again. Their midfield is too powerful to slip much.

Are the Fremantle Dockers actually going anywhere?

Ross has the cattle to attack but no scoring options. Expect to see this change next year. They are hoping at pick 16 they can grab Charlie Curnow but that’s a long shot. Ben McKay looks to be their best bet as a defender who has been switched forward this year with some success.

There’s rumours that they are looking at 25 year old Subiaco goal kicker Shane Yarran with a late 4th round pick. He has had a troubled past but could be a short term solution.

Are the Fremantle Dockers actually going anywhere?

Fremantle have a real problem in trying to recruit name players across the country. They need 2 bigger bodies in the forward line and another in the back half. They will solve some issues, albeit a long term one in the draft. They have their eye on a mature age goal kicker in the WAFL and will pick up a young forward in the draft. That leaves the defensive post as a real head ache for Ross

Ablett shouldn’t even be in this top 10.

6 way tie between Fyfe (Fre), Priddis (WC), Kennedy (Syd), Dangerfield (Adel), Mitchell (Haw) and Goldstein (NM)

Stranger things have happened

Crowd sourcing our 2015 Brownlow Medal Winner

Remember in the 70’s and 80’s when violence on the field was not only acceptable but a prerequisite. The good old days. The price of admission including knocking others out, blood spurting from a head. A punch up every 5 minutes.

I miss those days. Watching the crowd turn on each other made me recall those glory days.

Freo fan faces life ban after crowd violence

Nil Craig once said he would never work at any other club when he was Crows coach. 3 clubs later and a fourth on the horizon he is starting to look like a man who doesn’t have any other option but to ply his horrible defensive game plan to whoever wants him. He has never played or coached with a plan B and he shouldn’t be given any kind of brief other than orange boy at AFL level now. His time has come and gone.

What role does Neil Craig still have to play at AFL level?

Thanks for the insightful input Marez.

Fremantle's maiden premiership looks a fair way off

Psychologically speaking when the decisions go against you and are deemed bad they have a some what debilitationg effect on players for a short period of time. It makes them hesitate and that explained Hawthorns first quarter run on. If the umpiring improved for the rest of the match then it wouldn’t have been seen as a problem, but it become part of the match and when one team is advantaged they get a bit of false confidence and that can affect the outcome of a match.

I’m surprised the AFL don’t ask task people to look into the psychological aspect of poor umpiring

Fremantle's maiden premiership looks a fair way off

A heavy umpiring influence that favoured Hawthorn sure as hell didn’t help

Fremantle's maiden premiership looks a fair way off

Being humble in victory is an attractive attribute.

Don supports his team, he has a right to be parochial. It hurts. If Hawthorn didnt steal other teams players they wouldnt be in the GF again

The umpires threw away the rule book and were too influential in a match where Hawthorn were favoured too heavily.

2 reasons why Freo lost. They have no forward line and They make too many mistakes and turn the ball over

What a waste of a year

HA HA HA, black cloud over his Brownlow

Crows fans are gutted. Its happening all over again, just as it seems to look good something mucks it up like now Andrew Fagan is under investigation by ACT Police for his role in a Brumbies land sale. It never seems to end.

I took solace from this though…

Said it a week ago. All that oxygen for nothing.

Although Rossy might pull a swifty, cop a fine and have Crowley line up late.
