Both teams survived explosions from their star players to end up tied at the half.
Klay Thompson had 26 points and Lebron James had 25. Klay’s potentially seemed more exciting as he scored in bunches whereas Lebron was more consistently spread.
Mark Jackson describing Lebron’s offense in the first half – “Variety is the spice of life.”
Apart from that being a classic Jackson line it points to how James used making some long jumpers early to spread the defence and make it easier to attack the ring – he blanced different styles of attack perfectly.
Curry was ok in the first half with 13 points, if he picks it up in the second half though and Klay keeps going as he has been, Cavs might not be able to keep up.
