Well it isn’t another spoon year so far unless we get busted again so no complaints here. When you follow a team like the eels, you sorta get used to mediocrity and learn to enjoy the few wins you get each year. Happy I seen them win 4 GF’s tho, I probably won’t see them win another 1 but it’s all part of following sport.

Fergo isn’t in a slump at all, he just needs a half decent centre inside of him who isn’t a bloody ball hog and knows how to pass it when needed. You can see the frustration on his face and his body language each and every time Waqa Blake gets the ball and refuses to set Fergo up or if he does set him up, he refuses to pass.

Btw, I have never had a problem with the storm being in the comp, if it was up to me I’d have SA and WA as well. Parra lost in 09, meh, I wasn’t as angry about the cap rorting as I was the refs performance in the first half where a storm player was tackled and told to play the ball but ran an extra 15 metres with the ref doing nothing, the next play, the storm scored the first try.
