Thursday nights do work though. They fulfil their intended purpose of being a highly popular TV game while acknowledging the negative affects it may have on crowds (would like to see the numbers tbh). Monday games dont regularly exist anymore unless I’m mistaken.

Those timeslots are TV timeslots. They arent great for crowds, but TV is what funds a lot of the game so they have to be there. Compromises have to be made

Tim, in your linked article in regards to the draw you’ve somehow now made a connection to the fact that the Roosters had a favourable draw in regards to FTA games and this made an immediate onfield impression? Somehow? Also you’ve mentioned that 5 day turnarounds have some sort of unwinnable aspect to them – something you have presented as fact – but is not actually the case. There’s plenty of other issues with that and now this article.

Obviously the NRLs previous salary cap punishments aren’t working so theyre really bringing the hammer down, and the NRL have mentioned they had proof of the deal being in writing/accepted, which is the disputed point. If they didnt the Tigers & Pascoe have an easy rebuffal.

I actually find Kayo has a lot more stuff on it than I could find on Fox. All of the Kayo Minis are great too, And theres the replays of all the panel shows plus a bunch of doumentaries
