Unfortunately I do not believe this will become a reality, they may be based in Ballymore or another small ground (fan numbers are simply too small, in my opinion).

The current fan situation in Brisbane is quite poor at the moment, and I do not believe it is viable for them to host a second club. The stadium is far from the city center, and even though it has a great atmosphere it is simply too small and isolated. Suncorp Stadium will be amazing once there are enough fans for it to be Brisbane Roar’s home ground.
I hope that there are more fans in the near future so this is not an issue!

What a game… the Matildas dealt with the pressure in those last five minutes and were rewarded with semis! Amazing play in extra time – Micah’s save, Fowler’s touch in the lead up to the goal, and pinpoint pass by Van Egmond to Sam Kerr. Hopefully Matildas can keep their form up for the Sweden clash.
