I am not Australian and I would see this from another perspective. How many Australian strikers do play in competitive and high ranked leagues? That is the matter here, Australia doesn’t have any striker that could ever make the difference in the world cup.
The long term plan should be reaching the MLS level, but now A-League clubs have to let good and young players go abroad, especially when they’re young and Arzani is the perfect example, because now he is the Australian Pulisic.
I honestly feel like Australian clubs are scared to become part of a high level and efficient system, like if they would prefer to keep things like they are now. So, I hope my thought is not the truth and I really wait for the next Cahill.

How will the Soceroos fare without Cahill?

Well, Kawhi’s performances are being just ignored by the media! At the moment he is one of the best in the league.
As rookie of the year Doncic is very well suited, given the fact that he was a starter at Real Madrid.
The greak freak is a monster during the rs but when it comes to the offseason he’s just evanescent whereas AD and Gobert keep up their pace throughout the whole season.

Early predictions: NBA award front runners

This guy never showed up any skill that could make a team think about splashing cash on him. He has been a great runner but that’s it, nothing else, so he should have been humble enough, 3 years ago, to take a step back. But we all know about his bad trial with Borussia Dortmund and this 3 million AUD saga so I just think Usain has an overrated picture of himself.

Bolting out of the A-League: Usain's Central Coast sojourn comes to an end

I’m surprised that you’re having doubts about this episode! We are all aware of what footballers can do, just to trick the ref and have a benefit (penalty, free kick), in fact there is a world class example of that : Neymar, pro diver at a top flight level, so imagine what can actuall happen in a lower league like the Australian one.
Secondly, VAR is giving a great help to referees in Europe but sometimes they don’t wanna watch the footage, just to have a point. I know, it makes nonsense, but that’s it : refs see technology as a threat to their job.
