Wow. I didn’t think someone go there but here you are. Go back to which century you come from.

Late end of the 14 season saw better numbers including 35K to the SF against the Brumbies and over 60K to the Final.

What the Rebels players should be demanding to know, as Twiggy's ex-rival throws a familiar hail Mary

Good question piru. I think they are just Sydneysiders. The Swans numbers drop pretty quickly during poor years too. I just there are lots of options for your free leisure time and spare cash, when your teams losing there are just better things to do. I’m not that way inclined but I think plenty are. It makes me think the Rebels moving to Western Melbourne might be a viable future, a different fanbase to what they have now but maybe a more loyal one. Mind you i think the Tahs would find the same thing if they were willing to move to bankwest and stick it out through some leaner years.

For Sydney it’s all about the wins. Tahs fans will return if they win.

That’s ridiculous, WC final will be in Sydney.

Keeping Coleman is better than the three alternatives thrown up.

They didn’t win a game the year before he came on board and Gilmore was an assistant at the beginning of that season and finished a co-coach. But anyway you have an agenda to push – go ahead.

It hasn’t really worked at AAMI the whole time so worth a shot.

Not trying to claim the Tahs have a great culture, as a long suffering fan I know they don’t. But I think if you looked at the players over that time period, Hoiles would stack up pretty well against most of them as far as being around when things were working. He cops a fair bit on this site but I think he has a future in coaching , I just think it’d be better for both parties if it wasn’t at the Tahs.

Pretty good numbers I think.

Tahs need someone who doesn’t want to coach the Tahs. Someone who hates them, someone who wants to get in there and get angry. Can’t be Hoiles Grey or Cheika. I don’t see how Gilmore would all of a sudden have the answers that haven’t been found in the four years he’s been an assistant.

The Tahs have more than enough talent to lose this one. Better start drinking early just in case.

I think they would ideally like a bit more height somewhere in the back three. It’s why I think Marky will play this year and Suaalii will be fast tracked the year after. Petaia is the other obvious choice. It’s what they were chasing with Vunivalu.

Thanks for the info. That was the article. I’m with you, happy to have Horne heavily involved and I also would struggle with the concept of Gilmore replacing DC.

There was an article on another news site, that I couldn’t access without a subscription, suggesting RA would have a say in whether DC gets an extension. Hoping that means Joe, Peter and David rather than Daniel and Phil.

By my reckoning he is being offered 370k a season less than the Chooks offer. I don’t even see that as competing. They offer you this, the best we can do is this- your decision young man. If it’s just about money he’ll go,
