Otherwise you’re condescending that person, Remy clearly stated she was not offended and that should’ve been the end of the story. Instead because other people who it was no business of in the first place have determined the fate of a footballer that has done nothing wrong as far as the supposed victim is concerned.

The club said it was wrong because they’re spineless virtue signaling wimps, this was the exact time to support their player, not fold to the vile media and the perpetually outraged on behalf of others wowsers. Should’ve have told the media that we’re supporting him, we’re not going to suspend him and is free to play. If the media don’t like it they can sensationalise as much as they want – we shouldn’t be worried about the media because we all know the story is completely overblown.

This statement is a contradiction, his behaviour in Bali WAS consensual. The lady involved said as much, that should’ve been the end of the story. That depends on the girlfriend or boyfriend or close person that is subject to the behaviour, if they’re ok with it then move on. Unless of course I felt compelled to be outraged on behalf of someone else I don’t know, that would be a dick move though, assuming how other people feel without consulting them first.

Did you consult Remy and her thoughts on JDG’s apparent disrespect for women? I would hope she was not stating her thoughts to you on behalf of all women – as that would be disrespectful to all women.
A piece of advice, being offended on someone elses behalf is never wise and it condescends those you are being offended on behalf of – especially someone who clearly was not offended or felt disrespected.

So in a nutshell, are you suggesting a reset? Are Port personnel reliant (their game plan)? What’s interesting is I looked at the team stats for the first 3 rounds. They’re winning the metrics that you suggest, like CP and i50. It’s a head scratcher, much like the cats against swans. Actually not playing that bad just made to look bad in DE by self inflicted and by swans pressure.
This is what looks like ‘don’t get beaten by what you know’ sort of scenarios. It’s not like they have room to tempo their footy to stop the oppositions momentum like say a blues or hawks though.

All about finding a balance I reckon Pete. This manic game is good, mainly because of the team defensive pressure that allows us close space and force turnover on the ball carrier.
We got opened up in the last, but that was more due to the cats beating us at our own game and probably a combo of them bringing and us running out of fuel. So balance needs to be found, can’t sustain that all season. And that’s all part of game development, as Fly alluded we’re new to this and still learning. My guess is that is what Fly is trying to find balance, play tempo footy to nullify the oppositions momentum.
