Odd that you mention crusade and burning at the stake; they are historically In the realm of the Folau brigade list of atrocities.
The Wrap: Super Rugby’s week 13, lucky for some
You would think that Chieka, a successful business man, would have courage to say ” I’m not successful at this coaching internationally, I should go back to what I am good at.” Does he need the money – no. Surely life is too short for the stress he must feel. Or he is so crazy that he thinks he is doing well and that a ranking of 7 is like being ranked 1 because the numerals look similar.
Lose-lose for the Wallabies against the Azzurri
The best case for Cheika is a suitcase, as he needs to be sent packing.
The case for Michael Cheika
I reckon the money is an investment in an attempt to lure more players to rugby. Whilst my rugby heart is Black through an through (same colour as my lungs) Hooper is a good player, with longevity, energy and minimal lost time injuries. This investment shows sportsmen that there is a pathway to riches in rugby. Can’t wait for the game next Saturday-go the Blacks!!!
Rugby Australia, you can't be serious?
I find it very interesting how a champion team like the Sader’s can make the current worlds best player and a potential 2018 pity look so ordinary two weeks in a row. It certainly makes the team of the year and coach of the year far superior reward and highlights in the resume.
After three consecutive losses, can the Lions keep it together?
What gets me is that the ARs and the refs no longer seem to look at offside from the kick off. All sides are doing; some are worse than others.
The Wrap: Continuity the key as Crusaders march onwards
That has to be one of the best tries ever!!

Perfectly expressed Kiwihaydn. If you were to look at the definition of a contract in the dictionary I’m sure it would say something like, “A legally binding document which determines the rules that each party must abide until the written concluding date.” Definition of journalism, “Written information that is centred around fact, but does not list all facts in a way that clearly unveils the full story. Often uses supposition instead of quoted responses of parties which allows the author to bend the story to their own desire.”
Peter Samu's future is cloudy thanks to trans-Tasman bitching
Being a Sader’s fan it’s a good result for me. So long as we can take the Chiefs tomorrow.

Not so sure it was down to the centres. Even BB & TJP were ineffective once the Lander forwards got the upper hand.

The way I see it Israel Folau likely has very gay tendencies and is screaming loudly against it to try to exorcise this “demon” from himself. Look out boys if he ever turns to preaching after his sporting career is over.
The problem with Israel Folau's comments
Brodie Retallick for my vote defence and attack he is without peer for his position. This is also what would rule Folau out of the official list; one dimensional, good on attack but crap at defence.
The alternate World Rugby Player of the Year list
Foley’s best attribute is his ability to disguise his NFL style forward passes from the officials.
Why Michael Cheika will live or die by the Waratah ‘holy trinity’
80 minutes on the clock at Ellis Park. Crusaders leading 25 – 24. Scrum in font of the Crusaders posts, Crusader ball. Solid scrum, no angles, ball in the centre (!), clean hook. Kieran Read, picks up and kicks it into the crowd. Whistle blows; Lions free kick! Elton smartly drop kicks the replacement ball over the sticks and Peyper blows full time. Lions win! Ref’s mic, picks up Read asking, “what was the free kick for?” Peyper, “Well they’ve had one all year.”
Tongue firmly in cheek.
The low five on the grand final
You have to wonder what Mick Byrne is thinking after leaving the All Blacks culture and stepping into the WB’s. If it continues like this you would think the relationship will be short lived.
ARU alert: Has Michael Cheika gone rogue?
I went to Bledisloe 1 and sat next to an AFL fan who had come with rugby mates. I was really embarrassed for our game in the first half and didn’t enjoy it at all – money well spent right. Luckily the 2nd half theatre rescued the spectacle. The AFL fan was so negative and dismissive, but ultimately correct about the game. It like watching violent chess.
