Agreed, Bogut is a perfect example really and he was drafted in 2005 so just goes to show how far the game has come since then.

Yeah I think whether or not the game continues to head in this direction or not, I certainly think it’s better purely from an entertainment point of view. Escpecially considering that the traditional big man style transaltes into a lot of free throw shooting and slowing down the game as a result.

They don’t need to trade anyone currently on the roster unless they need to salary dump for whoever they get in exchange for the No. 2 pick. That’s assuming they do trade the pick in the first place, I think it would be a mistake not too with this lacklustre draft given their best players are all on the wrong side of 30. Their current starting line-up alone is arguably the best in the league – it’s just a matter of staying healthy.
