Excellent point you’ve made Danger – the public watching the game are worse than animals! I feel sorry for the players.
I’ve been a footy follower since 1956 and I’ve never seen a worse rule!

I’ve always thought that 50 metres is absurd for any infringement! What happened to 20, which is much fairer.

Right on Les, I agree, especially about the AFL being arseholes!
As far as Ginnivan being annoying, that’s part of the game and the way he plays. It’s a good thing he has a hard head or that would go straight to the tribunal!

Simplify the rules! That’s my idea. The game has become a mess – nobody knows what the umpires are doing half the time – esp. supporters.

I’ve always thought that 50 metres for almost anything was too harsh a penalty. Maybe 20 metres or another way of penalising a player altogether?

It’s become blindingly obvious that the officialdom of our once great game is pandering to whoever squeals the most. Almost every week it seems there is an outcry from some section of the moronic masses!
I absolutely detest rule changes! It’s a bit like building new freeways – the more they build, the more people use them. The more rules are changed, the more players will find ways around them, to their advantage.
