Couldn’t agree more, great game, great turn out and a great discount on the Q clash tickets for the match straight after!
Even got a few high fives from the crows squad post game as they made their way around the ground with the cup!

In terms of sponsorship, Port also just agreed to extend its deal with China based company MJK until at least 2020 (the end of their 150th Football season).
Roar and Against: It's a great idea to play an AFL match in China
Don’t see a problem with this at all, Port have their sponsorship $$, Gold Coast agreed to sell their home game. It’s a sell out (although probably 90% Aussies/expats), and we’ll probably all be at home watching on TV out of curiosity.
If nothing further comes from this so be it, it’s only one game out of over 200 that will be played this season.
Seems to be an awful lot of negative media coverage coming through for whatever reason, have a look at the comparison here of Port Adelaide’s photo compared to a a photo taken at the same location by The Age.

Free transport no doubt would’ve benefited other events as well though? Comedy festival, Titans v cowboys, Suns v Lions. I know a fair few people who went to these (and myself who went to the AFLW from Brissie, took the free bus to check out some of the coast after, then caught it back for the Q clash).
Also hell of a crowd at the AFLW final!! Too bad the Q clash numbers were down, especially when those who attended the AFLW Final were offered 2 for 1 tickets…
