Mate, there is countless comments across Facebook from New South Wales fans saying this is the beginning of a dynasty. However, I prefer not to use their words in an article. Deep down of course you want nsw to have a dynasty like qld, it’s just not going to happen.

Stranglehold for three years as in, by 2006 they were looking at securing 4 straight origin series wins, which neither state had done before. You have a point that nsw had a better series win percentage from 1990-2005, however, this article isn’t about series win percentages, more about dynasty’s (which only Queensland have).

They’re rich enough to afford an uber to their place, do the business, and both head back to the venue. If they both want to get with each other so bad and not be caught, they’ll find the way.

I said Matt Dufty on an article I posted on here last year and was laughed at. I’d love him to come to the Broncos but I think Isaako has been going good in 2021. You’d have to sign Dufty and move Isaako to the wing and lose one of Mead, Oates or Coates.

I agree Don. Lodge had his best performance in broncos colours last week. If he had been playing like that for the last couple years, I’d be having very different thoughts on him. However, like you said, he’s doing it for the new contract.
If he can keep that pace up for the remainder of the season, Broncos may keep him and it could be worth it.

I agree, the broncos forwards lack aggression. There’s a lot of players on the market but need to be very very careful on who the broncos sign.

My theory is signing older guys with a few years left in them. Wasting cap space on players like Teo and K.Hunt is a quick fix and the speed of the game is too much for the older players. However, a forward at an age of 28-29 is perfect to lead the younger players around.
Most of those signings is a pipe line dream. I agree with you. Realistically, I think we would be happy with Reynolds and Capewell. I think it’s also not far fetched to also sign Collins or Horsburgh.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on backs? I think Gagai would be a good signing but I really like Farnworth and Staggs (if we keep him). Gagai to wing maybe?

I feel bad for Milford because if the broncos pack played the way they did on Thursday with Milford there, I think he shines.

Yeah very tough to get Flegler and Lodge to move on. I also don’t want to be paying their contracts like we are for bird, macca and offa.

Well, the Cowboys can take them if they want haha. Two forwards should be moved on (Lodge and Flegler) and two retire (Glenn and Teo). We lack in our forwards so badly and I think that’s because players like Haas, Riki and Carrigan bust there ass while the rest just grab the pay check.

Anyway, I still have that in the back of my mind. It would be hugely hypocritical of him if he left after how angry he was with Cronk. However, it is Smith, he does what he wants really.

I agree. I think the Cameron Smith move isn’t just for short term success but for the future of the club. For all players, not just the hooker.
Titans should be keeping a close eye on hookers that could take over after a potential Smith signing. Wether that is having Tanah Boyd becoming his apprentice or someone else, they need to use Smith as best as possible which is on and off the field.
