I am an aspiring sports journalist with a little soft spot for rugby league. I am a Brisbane Bronco diehard and 100% Queenslander. I also host a weekly rugby league podcast called 'A Different League' with my two best mates.

Hi Andrew,

Imagine!! I’ve played the mudgeeraba redbacks back in the day in the Powrgard Cup. Safe to say, you guys dominated us.

Cameron Smith should sign a one-year deal with the Gold Coast Titans

I’d honestly like to see more player swaps in the NRL with a bit more tweaking and not just Vlandys saying “yeah sure why not”, as you said.

If I had to choose, I would much rather have a couple of trade or transfer windows during the season.

Is player swapping moral?

I included Cameron Smith into the list as a bit of fun haha. Purely on the hate against Melbourne and their wrestling tactics.

I tend to disagree that players won’t leave for a combat sport at some point in their career. It all goes down to their passion for boxing or MMA. If a player believes they can go all the way and make a career for themselves like Mundine, then why wouldn’t they have a crack?

Which NRL players could transition to combat sport?

Sua can be the man to shut down Cleary. Bennett should be giving Sua the mission to put him off his game.

Appreciate the comment mate

Ben Ikin is the man to shake up the Brisbane Broncos

Thanks for the comments mate 😁

I’d love to hear your thoughts on who you think should be the next CEO and coach for the Broncos?

He has administration experience with the North Queensland Cowboys as a board member and is an independent director for the QRL.

I think he can do the job well. He is extremely smart, has previous experience and is passionate about the club.

You and I are both passionate for our club, but we don’t have the experience like Ikin.

Appreciate your comments.

However, as a Broncos supporter I am not enjoying this demise haha. We’ve had it good for many years, but it’s such a proud club that I would never have thought it would get this low.

Thats probably what will end up happening.

Neither do I. I agree, he’s extremely slow. JWH is so aggressive and moves fast for a big body.

Haas is that player for the broncos, but you want both your forwards creating damage on both sides of the field (JWH and Taukeiaho). I’d like to see Haas and Ofahengaue up front.

I agree. 2022 looks more promising.

I’m not throwing Tesi Niu out of the side. His preferred position is centre. It’s where he played for Souths Logan Magpies and in the U18s Queensland side.

He’s a great player and has huge wraps on him, at centre, not fullback.

I have to agree with you on Lodge. He’s Brisbane’s Aaron Woods. He just does his job, doesn’t attack the line like a front rower should.

I look at front rowers like Regan Campbell Gillard and Kikau who lead from the front and absolutely destroy defences and just wish the Broncos had someone with that kind of attitude ( aka Josh McGuire).

Haha 😂

Why not both? Haha.

In all honesty, I think Keary is a more achievable signing due to him coming from Ipswich.

However, I just heard on the radio he’s about to extend his contract at the Roosters for 3 years, still under an amount I think he is truely worth.
