He is not fit to play for 90 minutes and we saw what happened at Allianz one week ago. Messi played a little less than 45 minutes against PSG 2nd leg, 35 minutes against Bilbao. Tonight should have been the same but when the aggregate was 5-0, it was useless to use Messi and take a risk. Barcelona haven’t won the La Liga and they want to save Lionel Messi for the worst case scenario.

Thanks for appreciating my efforts mate. Well i wanted to do something new and innovative and in my opinion, we compare sportsmen from different era’s in all the sports (Messi to Maradaona), Sachin to Bradman, so many of them actually , it naturally becomes a rivalry.

I knew about some of the criticism ill face while writing this article. 1 being comparing players from different eras and 2. talking about a fixed tv serial in the name of WWE. But when you need to be innovative, people might not like that but some will surely. A mixed response from the readers in this article, just as i expected!!! I tried something new and featured WWE because i do follow that.

Bradman v Jardin was amazing and that actually tells you about the Ashes! Perfect rivalry but Sachin- Ponting in modern era, there hasn’t been any better rivalry in cricket other than this. And apparently , they both play for Mumbai in IPL. Admiring each other’s shots from the non striker end respectively and feeling I must get a better one next 🙂
