Hello hasn't published any posts yet

Baby noddy looked good. I can’t see what he does better then anyone else but the team seemed to know what was happening when he is there

'Like a Scud missile': World Cup reject leads rout, but Reds suffer fresh blow with Petaia's season in jeopardy

I would have like to see the Cooper Toomua continue under Link, they were looking a good pairing

Joe Schmidt's search for a 'cold-hearted bastard' - and the issue he'll lose most sleep over

All the coaches must see something in suli that i dont

Super Rugby teams: Marky clear for Crusaders clash, Blues rest two All Blacks after just ONE week, DMac to face Brumbies

Agree I am a big fan of Wright.
He has a broad skillset and seems to have a good rugby brain.
Although he does not excel at anything.
I think with LW is comes down to will the other players in the pack play better with him in the team or not, and will he be better as a slightly larger 7 or a small 6 and how is the pack adjusted to keep the best balance

Comeback kids: 10 players who can explode back into the Wallabies reckoning in 2024

I think I would be looking at talakai over nongarr for rwc.
Hoping nongarr matures over the next 12 months with is scrummaging

'Must do your head in': Quade's error and Tate's indecision crucial as All Blacks duo bring the pain yet again

Agree. I am only talking about this world cup. Hope he makes the step up next year

Bledisloe heartbreak: Eddie's Wallabies denied by last minute Mo'unga penalty as ABs seal stunning comeback

Agree with all of that except 3.
Nongorr was OK around the park but is not there in the scrum.
If we are a tight head down I think we have to look at talakai as our 3rd on the plane

Bledisloe heartbreak: Eddie's Wallabies denied by last minute Mo'unga penalty as ABs seal stunning comeback

He is obviously the best full back to ever play the game and is only being kept back by those suit wearing tah people
Refer to rule 1 😂

Rugby News: RA signs 'landmark' deal with Japan, Wallaby joins French powerhouse, Lealiifano starts against Fiji

White also seemed to pass to hodge a fair bit for a kick.

REACTION: 'You don't have to be a smart arse, mate' - Eddie blows up at journo after Wallabies shocker

I think I only counted about 5 times that qc got the ball from white from a breakdown

Studs and duds: 'Horrendous' Vunivalu 'will cop a caning', Quade Cooper 'not the answer' as Carter stakes RWC claim

I think Tom hooper was calling the defence line out for the brambles
Mh is quick of the ground and with skeleton lifting could become a fair 4th option

Wallabies CONFIRMED: Why Jones opted for Hodge at 12 as Suli starts and four debutants named for Boks clash

Also think Eddie will want to see how Gordon and sk combine.

Wallabies CONFIRMED: Why Jones opted for Hodge at 12 as Suli starts and four debutants named for Boks clash

I will not say the rebels should have won. That would be a lie.
There were so many mistakes made by everyone today is was a bit ludicrous.
Now I will get to a bit of ref bashing.
He had a really bad game, not just him but the whole team.
Try’s that should not have been awarded, try’s that were not awarded but should have been.
The ruck seemed to be a crapshoot with no consistency.
He certainly was not favouring any team. I think all of the loose forwards were confused

Hardwick heartbreak: Rebels' campaign all but over after ref stinker proves costly

I think that the reds have the most sucessful lineout in SRP.
that is MF at hooker and LW calling

Wallabies Power Rankings: Foley fires, Carter slays as QC returns, 9s battle rages - how every RWC hopeful is tracking

Not just an option but seems to be a fairly decent lineout caller

Wallabies Power Rankings: Foley fires, Carter slays as QC returns, 9s battle rages - how every RWC hopeful is tracking

Wright can not catch a break.
Will be interested to see how the reds line out goes this week without it him. Seemed to do very well against the brambles.

Complete Super Rugby teams: Tahs welcome back Wallabies enforcer for Force clash, Reds lose key men

the main thing that worries me about the players leaving, is not that they are leaving but that there seem to be more staying in Aus and moving to another super side on the same money or less.
Every team loses players but it seems to me that reds have a higher percentage choosing to stay in aus and just changing clubs rather then leaving to make more money overseas.
I have not crunched any numbers and it is just an impression, I am sure that someone here has done the numbers

Selected by the Wallabies, dropped by the Reds: Thorn set to axe Vunivalu in wild 24 hours

Watching the game I got the impression that he was not wanted in control of the reds.
Tate regularly directed play away from him and it looked like they tried to hide him from the game.
When he ran the ball he looked good but it always seemed to be from a defensive pressure.
I am not sure if it was him not standing up and taking control or strange game plan.
He needs to work on his defence

'Broken record': Ill-disciplined Reds given 'reality check' as Hurricanes make Lynagh's debut a tough one

i think that is why EJ has a shelf life.

'A comfort level there': Larkham supported Rennie but says Eddie will bring missing 'edge' to Wallabies

I think we should have the orange as most of what we are seeing as red cards I am happy with the 20min.
Reds cards should be for the extreme. Intent does not come into it
Eye gouging or squirrel grip that is a RED
I do not put them in the same catagory as any of the red cards we have seen in super rugby.

‘The bias is obvious’: Why critics of the 20-minute red card aren’t doing their research

RobC used to do a scrumology or something like that a few years ago which was excellent.
Would love to see them back – the weekly scrum update.
After all this is where the real rugby is played

Coach's Corner: Who are the movers and shakers in Super Rugby?

FunBus
My thoughts are that it was a knock on.
But once the try had been awarded clear or obvious proof that it was knocked on is needed to over turn.
If it had have been a no try I think he has knocked on I believe that decision would have been up heald from the TMO.

ANALYSIS: Give the ref a propeller hat, thank Kurtley for the memories and fix this blight on the game

In regardsto side entry at the tackle
law 8.c. Arrive at the tackle from the direction of their own goal line before playing the ball.

The refereeing in the Trans-Tasman comp was seriously skewed, but perhaps not how you think

I do not think Lolesio has been that great.
I am exited to see how Tom Lynagh goes for the reds next year.

James O’Connor is a centre

Hi Peter
I think that this moight be your list.
i remember saving it at the time thinking that it was a great.
If you apply the laws as written in the ruck and provide an order they have to be enforced it would work
In this order
1) Tackler release
2) Tackler roll away
3) Players entering tackle zone onside, and through the gate
4) Players must stay on their feet
5) Players must support their own weight (so no jackler can place hands on ground or knees on player), also stops attack sealing off the ball as well
If a ruck has NOT formed
6) then the ball carrier cannot hold onto the ball
If a ruck has formed
7) NO hands on the ball allowed (the exception is 6 if the ruck forms AFTER)
Most of this hurts the defence more than the attack and no new laws are required
3)

Why the ruck must go hands-free in 2021
