Former prize fighter and chess champion. I live in a castle - no biggie. Can’t stomach people that listen to Alan Jones, have Ned Kelly tattoos and/or don’t know how to spell ‘to’, ‘too’ or ‘two”. I’m really smart. And funny. Good with the ladies. Pretty ripped. What else? I hate talking about myself. Open to all employment opportunities and offers of cash.

Once again, going after the big stories in the game……

The Wrap: Why SANZAAR must hold Frank Lomani accountable for 'going back for his hat'

Gibbon got worked over at scrum time on the weekend. He’s a good SR prop.

Five things: Lesson Aussie rugby can learn from Kiwis - and why next month will determine whether SR gap has closed

Nonggorr isn’t up to SR let alone test rugby. He will get destroyed.

Charlie Cale at 8, eh? Is he the shiny new toy that’s going to change our test fortunes?

And when was Jock Campbell’s last good game? When was Wright’s last bad game? Bell is out for the season. Toomuga-Allen won’t be eligible for another 56 months.

Swain is in great form. Pollard struggles at scrum time. And Ikitau will start at 13 – guaranteed.

Tate threw a swinging arm to a bloke’s head. It was malicious and dangerous. He deserves 6 weeks and he cost his team a win. Not taking the points for penalties in the last 2 weeks is another reason we lost both. He’s not a smart player or captain.

'Not ideal': Reds star duo cop Super Rugby bans after red cards - but where's the consistency?

Cockbain might be the most underrated Wallaby of all time.

'Brutal and violent': The two aspects Reds workhorse wants to fix to take next step towards Wallabies

Does Angus Creighton in any way resemble Sonny Bill?

Rooster must remodel: Angus Crichton says he'd want to 'dominate' in rugby union - this is what he'd have to change

Ma’a Nonu was much bigger, faster, could kick well and had fantastic hands. He also played his entire career in the sport. How is anyone comparing a league journeymen with arguably the greatest rugby 12 of all time? Who are you people?

Rooster must remodel: Angus Crichton says he'd want to 'dominate' in rugby union - this is what he'd have to change

If Rugby finds $50 to sign this bloke I will start burning down buildings.

And Tupou, Mafi, Tualima and Sam Talakai.

'Kid wonder': Lancaster, Gordon shine as Rebels take one giant step in locking in maiden Super Rugby finals berth

👍
He’s one of the best referees in the world.

'Kid wonder': Lancaster, Gordon shine as Rebels take one giant step in locking in maiden Super Rugby finals berth

Wasn’t there a Rebels’ knock-on before one try? The Rebels must have been amazing to score 7 tries with a ref that was cheating, amirite? The constant whining from ignorant rugby ‘supporters’ is easily the worst thing about the sport.

The amount of games each week probably doesn’t bother Stan all that much. Why would it? They don’t sell ads, so eyeballs aren’t a driver. This is a fact. What they care about is subscribers paying the monthly bill. What matters to Stan and Sky is how many customers will add/cancel their Stan subscription with less/more teams? I don’t think I’ve read a single article from a rugby journo that indicates a basic knowledge of the business side of things, which is probably part of the reason why our sports’ bosses have not been held to account.
And it’s pretty naive not to understand that a sport that makes the bulk of its revenue from broadcast rights should work closely with the broadcasters when designing the comp. And… while we’re talking about the broadcasters, Stan is doing a great job, but rugby needs to get the hell out of that deal and get the sport in a place where new fans can access it. Niche platforms like Stan are almost guaranteed slow death to mainstream sports.

The Wrap: 'Take them to a dark place' - A quiet round grabs eyeballs for all the wrong reasons

Slipper is 35 years old. Perhaps it’s time to move on. Isaac Kailea is one with a bright future.

'It can be something great': Schmidt turns to 'scrum doctor' as next step in Wallabies rebuild

Slipper is a born journeyman that is front and centre every time our scrum is dominated. Australia will never win a thing by rewarding mediocrity, which epitomises Slipper.

'We’d like to see Taniela stay': RA 'absolutely' want Thor for Lions, have 'contingency plans' for Rebels crisis

Yet, he dominates SR so much that his team wins. You cheer on Nonggorr and Talakai – I’ll stick with Nella.

'We’d like to see Taniela stay': RA 'absolutely' want Thor for Lions, have 'contingency plans' for Rebels crisis

Three wins for the Rebels based on scrum dominance. Pro Rugby is about winning, right? Without Tupou the Rebels are naught from 6 in 2024.

'We’d like to see Taniela stay': RA 'absolutely' want Thor for Lions, have 'contingency plans' for Rebels crisis

Nella’s destruction of the Tahs’ scrum, as well as the try (the turnover didn’t hurt) helped his team get their third win. The previous 2 wins were also on the back of the scrum dominance he delivered. He’s not at his best and he deserves some criticism, but anyone doubting his ability and/or doesn’t believe he should be a priority must just like losing.

On average, players were heavier 20 years ago. This size thing is just another myth.

WR's mooted law changes are great - but show there's a hell of a lot wrong with rugby in 2024, and that sucks

Jeff Stooke is a top man!

'Previous chairman can not be a scapegoat': First salvo fired in bid to spill the Rugby Australia board

When was the last weekend when Langi Gleeson outplayed Wilson? When was the last time that Langi Gleeson had a good game?

Five things we learned: Schmidt's selection headache, Carter's a No.12 wildcard, and $1m Thor must step up

My eyes must be lying to me. I look forward to seeing how the Brumbies’ overrated setpiece goes against the Tahs’.

Five things we learned: Schmidt's selection headache, Carter's a No.12 wildcard, and $1m Thor must step up

We are living in Bizarroland if Slipper is considered a better scrummager than Angus Bell.

The Reds’ pack was just handed their own arse by the Force. I’d say the All Blacks are a birdge or two too far. McReight is a certainty and Faessler is a good chance, but I bet they’re the only two in the team for the first test.

Wallabies Power Rankings: How every Test contender is shaping up one month into Super Rugby

And to add, it seems they do expect a return. They’re suing RA to get that return. Scumbags.
