The 66 point loss was the biggest loss margin in the 141 games the rebels has played
The Wrap: The Super Rugby cream rises to the top
RUPA know which side their bread is buttered. They said very little when the Force was axed
BREAKING: Israel Folau takes legal action against Rugby Australia
I think you get a contract to play for the Tahs but perhaps you are right about being selected to play as a Wallaby. What’s your point? Work is work.
And thanks for the lesson in FW compensation. A little boorish, but thanks.
Lies and blatantly unfair: Folau slams Rugby Australia
Doesn’t mean he doesn’t get compensated for losing his right to work at the Tahs and as a Wallaby , which he had been contracted to do.

nothing will stop you from creating a religion as a vehicle for discrimination, but this religion, the christian religion, has been around for more than 2000 years and is the cornerstone of Australian culture.
So lampooning quotes from this book shows you to be disrespectful.
He is not a malicious person. Izzy did not incite violence to a group of people. Your interpretation of his comment shows you have a political agenda in play.

You are shamelessly glib and incincere stating that you worry about him – I am sure that you care not for him and maybe even wish him ill for his views.
He has not tried to force his views on others – he made a post on his instagram site.

no one said he would be – where did that come from?

yes it is. He walks away from the employment contract. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t get compensated for losing his right to work

Politicians and witnesses accused murderers do actually use the Bible to swear the truth on. No one , to my knowledge, uses MK to swear the truth on. So using it as an example in your argument is stewpid

He is walking away from the contract . But that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t get what he is entitled to according to the contract.

you might recall that Mr Latham was sacked by Fox Outsiders for saying that a year 12 student (from Sydney Boys High School, I think) on a video “looked gay” – so it’s close to home for him

they are playing with their national team, to be fair
No rest for the wicked: Waratahs to go ‘all in’ with season on the line
well said Nick. Love the human interest side. You are dead right in your predictions. But, what advice would I give an up and coming player? Go son, go and make hay while the sun shines.
Will Australian rugby become a farm for the north?
sorry Fionn, I said for the sake of meeting a stupid agreement, not for the sake of a meeting. Again, resting your best players to manage the number of minutes they play over a ‘long’ season ? is also stupid (IMO) as 1. it’s not really that long, and 2. for the Tahs, it might as well be over if they dont win this game. And I dont give a stuff what Ireland and NZ do if its stupid its stupid
No rest for the wicked: Waratahs to go ‘all in’ with season on the line
Resting players for the sake of meeting a stupid agreement is stupid. Resting players to give other players opportunities is good. The whole idea to leave your best players at home and then face the possibility of losing and not making the finals is too stupid for words. Fans want to see the best players and when they are told, often late, that a certain player is to be rested, well it’s disrespectful to the people who pay the bills

Now if only Vic Rugby Union would be so kind and publish their 2018 Financials too we could take a squiz at them
'Almost insolvent' Rebels may be unable to afford Super Rugby final
that has a lot of merit. Maybe the sevens has smaller and faster players, but I don’t see RA pushing that as an entry point for younger players either
Crowds: An actual national rugby crisis that demands attention
In Melbourne they regularly give away tickets to entice a crowd and people dont even want free tickets to SR

Totally agree. The Super Rugby model is broke, but what to do? In fact, the NRC is broke too. Both depend on sponsorship and fans to pay the bills, but where is the fan engagement? Surely that stems from playing the game as a youngster and from having heros that children aspire to be like. I know – they just play sport, they are not role models, but loads of success stories have their roots in childhood dreams (although mine didn’t come true).
I’m a die hard rugby fan, and didn’t even watch my team play last weekend – had to go to work to ask some one the score.
RA pays massive administration salaries at head office, but where is the fruit of that? They have a closed tent policy so no-one is accountable and a fingers crossed plan. I’m sorry, I can’t get over the way RA knifed the Force and whether that has anything to do with low crowd numbers, I don’t know, but it sure didn’t help.

I think he tried to toe the party line and didn’t actually think his mate would get the sack this way. I think a lot of people have read a lot of commentary from NFJ and others and all this weighs on your perspective. Genia has to be true to himself, but sometimes it takes a shock like this to realise what that truth is. (IMHO)

It would be cheaper to pay out Castle and keep Folau – at least he might help us win
