Arms used or not isn’t the issue…Hodge’s shoulder impacts the Fijian player’s head…..arm or no arms, that’s a card, end of story. The only debate is the colour of the card.

BREAKING: Reece Hodge cited for high tackle

Very amusing Geoff…..one of your best!

The Wrap: Devious New Zealand plot to destroy Australian rugby exposed

Me too Fionn…….and you know who I support!

How do the Wallabies take down the world’s new No.1 team at the World Cup?

and who said Australia was a classless society………..

The Wrap: Cheika plays his cards while Hansen still shuffles his World Cup deck

It’s funny that so many people have that view of Western Sydney…..according to the bureau of statistics, there are actually more millionaires in western Sydney than anywhere else in the city……they just don’t have airs and graces, like some. ????

The Wrap: Cheika plays his cards while Hansen still shuffles his World Cup deck

He played for Easts in Canberra a few weeks ago, so he is back on the paddock.

Wallabies name 31-man squad for 2019 Rugby World Cup

I watched the second half, Geoff. As happy as I am for Wales to be in the number one spot, however short that stay may be, I thought England were the better side, certainly in attack, Wales just hung on through solid defence in the end.

The Wrap: Normal order restored in Bledisloe Cup whitewash

Sorry, loved Invictus…….the rugby was crap, but growing up in Africa, artistic licence aside, the feel good story between Mandela and Peinaar was great. Nkosi Sikel’iAfrica ????????????????

Wallabies well poised to double down on All Blacks

Wallabies well poised to double down on All Blacks

Bugger!

Wales dealt huge blow with Anscombe ruled out of World Cup

As I said to a mate in Canberra on Sunday…..it’s amazing what happens when selections are made on form, rather than reputation and favouritism.

The Wrap: Resurgent Wallabies place one hand on the Bledisloe Cup

There is only 3 hours travel time difference between the two sides……Wallabies had to fly west as well.

James O'Connor confirmed to start in Bledisloe 1 as Wallabies make shock change at hooker

He played for Easts in Canberra last week.

David Pocock's back as Wallabies name squad for Bledisloe 1

I went to school in what was then Rhodesia and played in our 1st XV with a future Rhodesian born Springbok….Harry Roberts. Unfortunately for him it was during the exclusion times, so he wasn’t officially capped I believe.
They were a great sporting family, his younger brother Bruce played county cricket in England, he possibly would have played for South Africa, but missed out for the same reason.

Zimbabwe remembers historic win over All Blacks

Well put Sheek. I remember saying at the time that the 2015 result only papered over the cracks. The Wallabies were one decision against Scotland from being knocked out in the quarter finals.

Address the structures rather than attack the scapegoats

Fionn. It was stated as rotation, the real reason was disciplinary……I won’t say publicly who told me, but I think you have an idea of my sources. ????

Tom Banks, Nic White named to start as Wallabies side to play South Africa is revealed

There is a third, and in my view, a preferred alternative. Remember that the ECB stands for the England and WALES Cricket Board. Wales potentially, could now hold both titles, not just England. 😉 Cymru am byth.

The English or Kiwis winning both World Cups - what's worse?

Watched on Foxtel, an entertaining game.

Wallaroos blast past Japan in Newcastle

Beat me to it….Netball World Cup starts this weekend, Australia leads the Women’s Ashes!

The English or Kiwis winning both World Cups - what's worse?

Off topic, but on a sad note, I’ve just heard from a mate in the UK that ex Springbok James Small has died from a suspected heart attack aged just 50. Vale.

Maybe Rugby Australia know what they're doing

No idea Gray-Hand, being a Brumbies member I try to avoid watching the Tahs…. lol 🙂

Returning veterans headline the first Wallabies squad of 2019

I agree KCOL that there isn’t much in it in terms of attack, there is however a much larger difference in terms of defence. According to Fox Sports stats he has a 79% tackling efficiency rate, Foley has a 69% rating, Cooper 66%. If the Wallabies want to stop shuffling the defence around, having CLL defend at 10, would be a better option in my opinion.

Returning veterans headline the first Wallabies squad of 2019

He has been the form Australian 10 this year. Players are perhaps finally being picked on merit….though there are some notable exceptions in this squad.

Returning veterans headline the first Wallabies squad of 2019

Jaguares by less than 7, 1st try scorer Tomas Cubelli

Super Rugby final: A rocky journey to Christchurch

No…. hopefully not a spectacular, but heroic defeat! ????

Why things fell apart for the Brumbies in Buenos Aires
