Yeah its true. But we don’t really have the time to add a 3rd option at 10 do we? I would like to see Tomua at 10, but it would be a bit harsh to throw him in for his first game against the All Blacks, and it’s too late once the cup starts. Gotta pick the best of a bad bunch.

Can’t really judge Coopers performance from playing at 12. Can you imagine Foley losing the race for the 10 jersey because he had a bad game at inside centre?

Half the scrum was changed, hard to lay it all on one guy.

Man, Bledisloe is going to be a cracker! Well done to Dean Mumm, grabbing a meat pie on his return! Wonder if Cheiks will keep going with having the stronger scrum in the second half?
Need to work on discipline!!

Wait, we poached a kicker from NZ!?! Why aren’t we using him??

Not defending his actions at all, but the reason Skelton did that is because that Argies player punched the Aus player lying on top. Anyway, quite right about the discipline.

Mate, I have been one of Mumm’s harshest critics. But I’ll gladly eat my hat. Had a great game today, and really pleased to see he has found some speed. Genuinely looking forward to seeing him play again. Well done to the big unit.

The Boks peppered Folau with bombs to take him out of the game, and it worked. I would like to see AAC and Folau swapped. I think Folau would be a much better attacking option on the wing, and AAC is great under the high ball and a solid defender. Has played some of his best games at fullback for the Wallabies.
SPIRO: Wallabies and All Blacks to continue their winning way
Probably pretty hard to hold it in someones eyes, but to just draw it all over a kickers face, hitting the eyes occasionally, I don’t think that would be very hard.

Agreed RT.
Really enjoy the read and the format. Well played boys, hopefully many more to come.
The Rugby Championship 2015 Week 2: The Big Questions
You’re right he does know more I’d say, and he called them both playmakers. I dunno, maybe I got the message in your post wrong, but I’m inclined to agree with JayE
Wallabies team to play Argentina: Cheika rings the changes
Not as funny as Cheika saying Foley is a playmaker…
Wallabies team to play Argentina: Cheika rings the changes
Didn’t the Boks also play their forwards on the wing? Pretty sure etsebeth was on the wnig when he scored or at a time he nearly scored? Anyway, just saying this isn’t purely an Aussie thing.
Wallabies found composure when panic threatened
Everyone is talking about starting Holmes and Sio, but they were only better than the reserve Boks. There is a chance that both sets of props would get dominated by the starting Bok front row.
I think it worked very well bringing these two guys in against the reserves as they dominated and Australia has been a poor finisher of games for a while. I would like to stick with bringing them on in the second half for a while.
Cheika to consider Hooper-Pocock combo
Agreed Cinque, I was surprised when Cummins got the nod instead of Tomane. Surprising selections, will be following with interest.
Giteau ruled out of tour to Argentina, Lealiifano in
Really? I’m a Tahs fan and I put Foley behind Cooper, CLL and Tomua. These three guys can handle a second playmaker OR a big crashing inside centre like Kerevi, Foley has to have a second playmaker outside him.

If he was interested in the money he would have gone to France.
Cooper turns down Toulon for Rio
Foleys goal kicking has not been very good recently unfortunately. I am very surprised that Cheika has brought in Cummins. I love the guy, but Tomane was the in form winger after Horne I thought. Guy must be feel very hard done by.
Genia, Horne drop out of Wallabies squad
Coopers attacking kicking was great, nothing pointless about it. There was a time where I felt the Wallabies lost faith in the game plan and started kicking, but that was by no means just cooper, the whole back 3 went into pointless kicking mode.
Genia, Horne drop out of Wallabies squad
The lateral play was the game plan. Stretch the defense and run them ragged, then in the second half play direct. It worked, but only just. We’ll see what happens against the Argies.
Wallabies come from behind to beat the Boks
Clearly grounded to my eyes
Wallabies come from behind to beat the Boks
Yeah, think he just needed to vent. I’m sure he cops a lot more than most on the team.
