Not sure I agree that DCE was fine, threw the ball to the ground or to Fiji more than he did to his teammates

Not sure how? He didn’t write the headline.

Would never see a Roosters player put himself ahead of the team and miss 3 games instead of paying a fine, coz they’d have good old Uncle Nick to fill their pockets for them 😂

Gold Coast Sharks seems like a much easier team to get around than the ‘suns’. Big missed opportunity by the AFL

I disagree with your first point to an extent. Certain players went in wanting injure the opposition, but not all of them. Fortunately for souths it seems the roosters had more of those players.

Ciraldo in charge, Potter by his side, a forward pack with TPJ, Kikau, RFM, King and Topine getting fed by Mahoney and a backline with the foxx, the ever improving Schoupp and Kiraz, Averillo flourishing at fullback, Burton and potentially Sullivan in the halves.
In a perfect world, the future looks bright for the doggies. Having said that, it could all just as easily go belly up and push the rebuild back another few years. I’d remain optimistic if I was a dogs fan though
Why Ciraldo 'five-year plan' is a massive risk for desperate Dogs
The only reason the ECB brought in The Hundred was to have their own franchise league like the BBL/IPL as the Blast has about 20 county teams and doesn’t have the same dynamic.
I’d argue that with the draft this year, the BBL is better than what The Hundred is anyway.
P.S. The BBL already has live music and a mobile game (it’s terrible) and I don’t think that’s had any impact on bringing in new fans at all
Should Cricket Australia implement a 100-ball tournament?
Surely Jack Bird’s salad deserves a mention. Not sure what it is, but it sure is something. Depending on the angle you look at it, it could be a simple crew cut, a mullet, a rat’s tail or something else altogether. Not to mention the beard/mo that seems to change every week or two.
Reflective of him as a player, and his career, in many ways I reckon.
It’s all a matter of style: The NRL's best (or worst) haircuts
The fact that the Pride jerseys have sold out is pretty telling. The players may not support it, but clearly the wider community are embracing it which can only be a good thing.

As someone from neither NSW or QLD who definitely ‘doesn’t get it’, I just love the hate between the states. I’m a Souths fan so of course I’m slightly Blue-leaning but I just love the spectacle and quality of the game and look forward to it weeks in advance like I imagine the diehard fans do too.

Origin teams: How they'll line up - late changes as final teams announced
Strongly disagree that neither Collingwood or Gold Coast are “remotely playing finals”. Both teams have clearly shown they’re going to perform and contend for the bottom half of the eight. Wouldn’t be surprised if by September one of if not both of them are on par with Freo
The Fremantle bubble has burst, and they could be in freefall
Port have been well below expectation but Essendon, West Coast and North have been far more disappointing this season
Don't let their winning streak fool you, Port are still bang average
NSW are blessed with a plethora of Latrell replacements and any of them would do a more than impressive job. If Freddie keeps his team similar to last year I can see Crichton being preferred due to the Panthers combination with To’o and Luai on that left side. He’s also a huge fan of Burton who played that exact role for Penrith last year so he too could be a chance. As for the utility role, Wighton has been poor in Origin the last two years and Hynes looks like the perfect man for the job.
On QLD, they will have to do something massive to upset the Blues this year but I can’t see any of the popular inclusions like Cotter, Nanai or even Walsh dragging the team ahead of NSW. One man I’d love to see however is Pat Carrigan; big body, great player and very underrated.
Experts Roar: Which uncapped player should be selected for Origin? Hynes, Nanai, Cotter, Koloamatangi
This has to be satire right? Right?? They play entirely different roles within the team, you might as well say Nathan Ellis should get his spot. Oh and David’s 41 game BBL career is only slightly longer than the 8 games you’ve said he’s played, perhaps you were mistakenly looking at the career of David Tim instead?
Why Tim David should not be in the Australian T20 team
