Five talking points from the 2020 AFL grand final

Kidding yourself mate. If you are a neutral supporter and don’t have a bias effecting your thought process here then you’ve got absolutely no idea what you’re talking about.

Five talking points from the 2020 AFL grand final

Richmond supporter, Totally agree pete, he got the ball and intent was to get the ball. Incidental contact after the fact. Couldn’t be avoided. So easy to sit on a keyboard and state what danger should’ve done instead in 0.5 seconds of time.

Please explain to which ones were junk time, and what your understanding of a junk time goal is. I’ll give you one, his final, and what a freakish goal.

Grimesy is a diver, no doubt about it. Vlastuin can’t be held in the same category, and in my memory he only really had that one game where he “exaggerated” contact. It is what it is. Watch the clip from that prelim. There is no case to be made that it wasn’t a dive in totality from Danger and it certainly wasn’t his only ever incident. And sorry for the confused comment, i was referencing an AA side point made in another post after enjoying one too many thursday night lockdown beers!

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: All Australian team

Also dives a fair bit in marking contests danger. Got a handy goal in last years prelim from a big dive. Shouldn’t be AA eligible even if form warrants based on this logic.

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: All Australian team

Just scraping past 3rd bottom, who have a number of best 22 injuries, scored the 4th least in the afl, against a full strength Geelong team….. was to be expected?

Six talking points from AFL Round 18

Why not? they were only shortened to help players with the fatigue of quick turnarounds? They are a non factor now. The finals deserve to be enjoyed in the traditional length qtrs. I miss long games

Six talking points from AFL Round 18

Yeah this didn’t happen. Last year richmond v eagles was game of the year and tiges won late

Six talking points from AFL Round 18

its also not a thing. Dimma doesn’t set up the structures defensively to go with an auskick beehive gamplan. if teams are struggling to score against richmond then it’s their own gameplan that may need some tinkering. Because defensive interceptions into swift clean counter attack, along with high pressure, do all the one percenters football isn’t boring. There was a big patch early on of super intense, almost scoreless football in the richmond adelaide game, both teams up to the task of handling the pressure, was great to watch

You liked ross lyons football, your opinion on acctractive footy is to be taken with a grain of salt

Six talking points from AFL Round 18

So tigers defend too well and then also attack and move the ball better offensively than anyone from half back? But its a boring style, the way the link up through attacking chains is a boring style? tigers 5th in points for, and aside from geelong, are only a few goals short others. I guess the other side of the coin is that the teams that fail to score against richmond play boring football

Six talking points from AFL Round 18

Long time mostly lurker of these forums, and i’ve gotta say your comments entertain me the most, so much bias which fuels your delusional thoughts about freo being supreme in everyway possible, wouldn’t need another single player recruited from elsewhere.. I do agree with the sentiment that Freo are on the up! Just not sure what they haven’t been top 4 every other year like you usually claim. You should make a facebook page like “AFL News , Trade Rumours , Results”. That one is a hit because of absolutely astounding bias towards saints in what is supposed to be neutral football info source. And he denies it. It’s one of my fav pages for entertainment.

More disposals against richmond means nothing, however as a richmond man, I disagree Dave, it was a convincing win.

AFL power rankings Round 17

So the news release of when his wife left him is the official time his wife left him? It doesn’t make more sense that his wife left him and then he quit footy in response to that? News got wind of the breakup afterwards.

Talk of full strength will never make people think Geelong should’ve won the flag.

Seven big questions for the AFL in 2020

Ellis was the one player i’d consider a liability in the tigers team with his penchant for shirking the contest. Was told he wouldn’t be guaranteed a spot in the side this season. Too many better players to take his role. I’d actually consider tigers stronger without him.

Seven big questions for the AFL in 2020

I genuinely wish my name was Jack Tosser hahaha

Which AFL premiership side was the best this decade?

West Coast were my dads team. So I’m actually pretty fond of them. Allegiances have nothing to do with it. Dom Sheeds late goal also turned $10 into $800 gf day for me. Lot of love for west coast. You’re just crazy one eyed

Which AFL premiership side was the best this decade?

Yep, the T stands for russell. And I’m more of a sausage dog. The irony of everything you write is great.

Which AFL premiership side was the best this decade?

whilst im surprised you are aware of my crabs issues, concerned even. Not sure how it relates to your sensitivity to all opinions in football that aren’t “WeSt CoASt arE tHe BeSt tEAm eVa”

Which AFL premiership side was the best this decade?

lol, from a bloke whos brain explodes everytime the “best team over the last 3 years” convo gets brought up, cause obviously the eagles flag was worth about 10 with all their hardships, any team winning with tom “fumbles” barass on the last line of defence deserves accolades.

Which AFL premiership side was the best this decade?

being the best performed team over a 3 year period – something you have made very very clear your brain doesn’t come close to being able to grasp the concept.

Which AFL premiership side was the best this decade?

Yeah i love thursday night footy, love finishing work on a thursday knowing theres a game on that night to watch. Makes the weekend feel like its come early.
