Do school teachers make the best coaches?
Can see why you give yourself that nickname 😂
Do school teachers make the best coaches?
Funny thing, believe it or not I used to teach accounting at uni for a number of years. Then when i worked as an accountant and ran training sessions, I was able to utilise a lot of skills and experiences from uni to the office. I has to make the adjustment of course that at work you are dealing with colleagues not students so you had to be respectful of that and make the adjustment so you don’t treat your work mates like they were your students hahah
Similarly teachers need to remember when coaching adults they need to adjust from children to adults. If you treat adults like children it won’t work. But a good coach will make that adjustment.

Thanks JB I love reading your posts, I find them so educating and learn a lot. Fascinating story that

Thanks Grem I always appreciate your positive comments ????????

The Wanderers in season one had like 300 visits, think Melb City had like 30-40 at the same time.
Things are far less than they used to be now of course
The ‘customer experience’ goes a long way to making junior soccer worthwhile
Funny you say that. Someone made that point to me the other day haha it’s cheaper than babysitting. Difference is parents are usually there lol

Was it something to do with Brisbane’s financial situations?
Goodship ready for next coaching challenge
If you don’t like my articles, who gives a damn lol what you think really doesn’t matter so not sure why you keep commenting ????
Goodship ready for next coaching challenge
Not really. She has coached other places too just I don’t know off the top of my head. She is highly regarded by players and other coaches so she is top notch by all accounts
Blayney makes history as Young Matildas head to FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup
Does the ‘Future Matilda’s’ program in Sydney and also the national under 20s coach. She has been an assistant in the past at the Wanderers in the W-League.

Don’t think they under performed as the stats IIRC back up that they were dominant.
They created good chances in most games.
They had more ‘local’ players playing regularly than this season I think. Their budget was actually low, I think signed players who wanted to play for roar at the time on minimal $$$
We have to ask why they didn’t come back. A few got contracts overseas but many went to other A-league womens clubs.
A lot of staff last year were volunteers and this year they had QAS paid staff.
Definitely should have done better in the semi but still no reason to move on Goodship last year other than political reasons. And nothing against Garrath McPherson either, not his fault

The finals format is sensational. Melb City deserve another chance and they will get one now. Well done to the APL for having this format
A-League Women semi-finals talking points
QLD is a key strategic market. Can’t believe an NSD can be successful without a team from there
NPL 'Champions League' format likely to be initial second division structure
He was a great coach. He had a few poor results against France and England (draw). And a loss against Chile.
They were six in the world.
'About truth and winning the moment': Long time lieutenants on what makes Staj tick
Not too sure. Be interesting to see what the UK. Government does
Why not bring powerful European women’s teams down under too?
Silly and ignorant comment

You mean to host games? Rangers and Celtic are playing in Sydney and I think Barcelona game is for Sydney too.
Why not bring powerful European women’s teams down under too?
Sadly Chelsea isn’t possible this season
Why not bring powerful European women’s teams down under too?
Chelsea be hard but not impossible. Arsenal or Man City or Juve may work

Cummins is quality.
Perfect way to bowl on that pitch
Captain fantastic! Pakistan lose 7-20 as Cummins, Starc spark stunning collapse to put Aussies in command
