Matthew I can’t speak for you but if I was test positive for any kind of illegal or non prescribed substance even certain pain killers now I would be sacked on the spot, do not past go do not collect 200 dollars, same with most jobs. These buggers are earning a minimum of 100,000 per year to have the privilege to play pro football. If they cant simply keep themselves within the arks of the law and the policies set down by the NRL and their individual club, then they don’t deserve to have their job, simple as that. Can’t keep within the law, don’t get to keep your job, its that simple.

This is what’s wrong with society today, everything is ok, in fact the only thing that is not ok is to say that something is not ok. It’s ok to do drugs as long as it does not effect your job or others . WRONG ITS ILLEGAL!!!!, ITS NEVER OK AND NEVER WILL BE!!! It ok to pee in your mouth or hump a dog, WRONG!! So why did Carney get the sack and Pearce get eights weeks on the sideline??? Actually the NRL has got it all wrong, they punish small offences like someone has murdered someone but the second someone actually commits a crime, break and enter, violence against women, drug taking, the NRL allows these criminals to keep their jobs and give them an Immortal status for it. Its really time the NRL got its priorities straight, but with a man in charge that can’t tell the difference between an EPL shirt and a Knights jersey, what hope is there???
