Horn considers future after Crawford loss, but Mundine not in mind
@ Brian Jones
Absolutely brilliant comment, deadset correct, this Greenberg, mor0n does absolutely nothing for the game and just sits there watching the NRL die in front of his eyes. He watched the Bulldogs be destroyed beyond repair, now he is doing the same thing to the NRL, someone please bring back David Gallop!!!!!!!!!!
Todd Greenberg never should have needed to order a crackdown
Hi Ben, great article. Lebron is the best of his generation but is far from being the GOAT. MJ and Magic were way better, plus did they ever play in a losing grand final team? Micheal Jordan is a forever will be the GOAT in baskbetball
Why statistics make LeBron’s 'GOAT' tag null and void
hi Matt, Fenech only fought twice outside of Australia and only one fight was for a world title, the first fight with Nelson, so I would not count him as a success outside Australia. Harding had a three fights in the states winning two, one in Britain and two in France wining all three, so on an international scale, Harding did far better than Fenech.
Johnny Famechon had a number of fights overseas and won all but one. Lionel Rose also well in the states and Japan, but no of them even come close to Tszyu’s international success.
Jeff Horn loses welterweight title to Terence Crawford
Would not be much of a career if he fights Mundine and retires Eddie, would think that he would stick around for at least 4 to 5 years yet. Mundine, Green and Soliman all in their 40’s and still fighting, probably shouldn’t be though.
Jeff Horn loses welterweight title to Terence Crawford
who said he was? there is no surprise that Horn lost to Crawford, Crawford is being billed as the next Sugar Ray Leonard or Mayweather. He is the elite of the elite and Horn is not at that level. I also heard that someone compared Horn v Crawford to Hatton v Mayweather, the classic battler puncher v boxer. The boxer will win everytime. Horn could be viewed as the next Ricky Hatton, nothing wrong with that he was a multi time champ.
Jeff Horn loses welterweight title to Terence Crawford
well was dead wrong about that, oh well
Horn vs Crawford: History set to repeat in Vegas
The real problem with aussie boxing at the moment is that we have only two well know fighters to our name. Horn and Mundine. With Mundine only one loss away from retirement (although we have been saying that for five years now) and Horn losing his title, their is no one else to fill the void. Ten years ago we had about six boxers to watch in Australia, Mundine, Geale, Green, Soliman. Bika and Dib. Actually speaking of Dib, he is fighting for the vacate IBF Super-featherweight title in August against Tervin Farmer in Redfern. How is this fight not on PPV is beyond me. Good luck to him, if he wins he become Australia only world champ
Tim Tszyu and Dave Toussiant are upcomers but the only reason we here about them is because they both called out Mundine. Neither man will probably fight Choc and will go back into darkness within a month (more than happy to be wrong about that)
Horn and Mundine will probably never come to past, Horn probably wants to fight Mundine but he mamagement team wont let him.
The Hornet fails to sting in brave Vegas showing
Brains Trust, Crawford was not a choice for Horn he was a mandatory challenger, meaning that Horn had to fight him or vacate the title and pay Crawford some “sorry mate but I’m not fighting you money”. Top rank set it up so that Arum gets Crawford as the champ and has the foundation for the Crawford v Pacqiuao fight that he wants
The Hornet fails to sting in brave Vegas showing
that is a fair comment Matt H, Horn is a good boxer just not a great one, like most aussies that take on the superstars of boxing they mostly end up failing. Name me one boxer besides Kostya Tszyu to have any real success in America or outside Australia for that matter. Aussie should just stay away from the American fighters, very rarely do we actually beat them.
Jeff Horn loses welterweight title to Terence Crawford
Don’t know could not find out but he does have a daughter. Can anyone confirm his siblings?
Horn vs Crawford: History set to repeat in Vegas
Well as someone who has been calling for Thurston’s retirement since the beginning of the year, I couldn’t agree more with this and I cant scream “I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!!” loud enough, Thurston didn’t play that bad last night but he is steering a sinking ship to its doom. How embarrassing would it be for Thurston to collect the wooden spoon in his final season? The rats are already off the ship, time to bail. Its really sad that things have come to this for the Cowboys, but they have done it to themselves.
Meninga thinks Morgan must replace Thurston now
Thanks Eddie, today is the day that Jeff Horn will become the next Kostya Tszyu and dominant the welterweight division, after his victory, he should go after Errol Spence Jr or Keith Thurman and unify the division. I really feel that Horn has got this as Crawford does not look like he is taking the fight that seriously.

brilliant try from Thurston to Feldt, anyone know the crowd in Darwin?

fair enough, but I see it not going past the fourth.
Horn vs Crawford: History set to repeat in Vegas
just plain unprofessional from Romero, thought he would of known better and been better prepared for this, after this fight he will hopefully move up to the light-heavyweight division.
Whittaker vs Romero no long for the title as Romero fails to make weight
You are right about Crawford, very rare you see an American fighter not talking themselves up and trying to be another version of Muhammad Ali, its a refreshing change that he goes out of his way to not be a slave to the media but he certainly does not do himself any favours by not self promoting, Horn could of made $10m out of this fight easy. Actually does anybody remember how much Tszyu made for the Jadah fight, if I remember correctly I think it was close to $10M? maybe even $15m
UFC 225: Breakdown and predictions
Rabbits, you really need to go and watch some of Horn’s fights. He destroyed Samuel Colonbam in less then a round, he beat Randall Bailey into quitting which he has never done, and only six of his fights have gone to the judges scorecards. Crawford is the better skilled fighter, no doubt but just like Jadah he get careless and end up on the canvas.
Speaking of Jadah, the ref made the right call within the rules. Jadah got up too quick and fell over again. According to the rules of the fight, if a fighter goes down twice in a ten count they are automatically counted out,. Jadah did recover afterwards but Tszyu would of thumped Jadah again into 2002.
Horn vs Crawford: History set to repeat in Vegas
I remember when BigJ backed Horn for the win but he was leaning towards that he has only a punchers chance. But this fight is different, Horn is a better well rounded fighter now and he knows what to expect coming into the bout. The weigh in is done and Horn had to out up the towel to make the weight and accused the weigh in being tampered with, but considering he only weighed in 16grams under the weight limit for his last bout, I don’t think there is any fault of anyone’s for Horn weigh in. Now Horn can put back on his 15lbs and destroy Crawford tomorrow
Horn vs Crawford: History set to repeat in Vegas
Shirtpants we all make mistakes mate, ha aha
Eddie, that would be a great fight but I think that Oezdemir would take Romero.
Horn will get Crawford the same way that Tszyu KO Jadah. Plus Im pretty sure that Horn is getting $5m tomorrow. Cant wait til tommorrow

Hi Shirtpants, how is Romero going to fight at 170 when he cant make 185?? what did he weigh in at anyway?
