Part of my reasoning for writing it was exactly your point Paul. It will be very interesting to see if they can keep it going, as all have shown early promise and faded. I like that some of the people switching trains and getting carried away by the train they are on, are starting to make some definitive and bold claims. It is all part of what I love about footy fans. This early, it is all wishful thinking and speculation, but it’s fun to dream, hope and guess.

Thanks for getting on board with the train analogy too!

All aboard the NRL train

What if the Warriors get to win in 2018 as a compromise?

Wow – no wins in the history of Facebook, that puts it in perspective.

I hope so – I was more referring to the talk around the team than the reality of any changes. It’ll be talk of the halves and changes to forwards and switching the bench utility players – you know – the usual…

A puffy dog is a cocktail frankfurt, no skin, wrapped in puff pastry. There are pictures of them on the version of the article on my website (www.dearweetbix.com.au)

Wow. Thanks so much for all of the lively discussion. Some great points made. Liked reading the suggested improvements of others.

Thank to everyone who has commented so far on this piece.

I love being at the games to support the Brumbies, but I just love being in the crowd. One day I’ll be that old man I’m sure.

This is from my blog “Dear Weetbix”, but I’ll keep posting my sports related pieces here on The Roar, love the engagement with other sports fans.
