Should of been a red card for mariners defender towards the end of the game for horrible challenge. Only yellow and the VAR not for the first time in the game (hand ball penalty) was asleep. Or can they not interfere in that instance? I’m not sure.

So the guy who was sacked from North Melbourne was part of the review?

Still trying to figure how we loss that match. Arsenal bossed Man Utd. Not taking chances and the high defensive line being exploited. Thought Arsenal played well otherwise. Not sure triple sub helped.

10 NFL pre-season takeaways

Absolutely bucketed down in Perth this morning. Ground staff will have there work cut out after two games of soccer and one AFL at optus last week.
Freo’s record in the wet hasn’t been great but they beat Demons comfortably earlier this season. Tough one to pick. Looking for any late changes with the weather.
I have tipped GWS at the moment, so no doubt, going on this season, Sydney will win by 10 goals.

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Round 11

Have you seen the service the Eagles forwards have gotten this season?
Not saying Jack is not struggling but the service the forwards are getting is terrible. A lot of the time the ball is bombed into the forward line. This is usually because of the slow ball movement to get it there so the opposition defence is set or lake of composure. Also been common for two eagles forwards to go for the same ball and spoil each other. The Eagles can’t lock the ball in the forward line either. Opposition teams are getting over double the inside 50s to the Eagles in a lot of games.
I saw Darling has been in the top few Eagles for distance covered in a number of games. So he is working to try and get the ball.

Are 'junk time' goals and injuries the only thing stopping Jack Darling being dropped?

I think the racing has been great this year.

There's a different vibe in Melbourne: It's F1 but not as we know it

So they weren’t the same weight class?

Sonny Bill brutally bashes Barry Hall in boxing mismatch

I’m sorry but this a terrible take.

People are looking at stills and slow motion of the Rioli incident and making judgement. The reality was it was too guys with eyes on the ball going to mark and one got there a split second earlier. The ball was in contest. Michael Voss summed it up perfectly, you should listen to what he had to say.

Robinson also didn’t have much time to react but the difference is the other guy had the ball already.

What's the point of the AFL tribunal with decisions like these?

Its probably harsh and too early to judge because of all the injuries but I’m not sure appointing Wessels assistant as coach was the best move. Maybe they wanted continuity but I’m not sure how much would change under that approach.

The Melbourne Rebels are stuck in a moment they can’t get out of

I tipped 5/5 last week but when I checked I only had 1. Had Tahs right then all away teams. Must have done something wrong. Pretty much out of the running after round 1 haha

Tipping panel Week 2: Blowing out the rust

Disgraceful. CA are inept

Win the World Cup and ashes and get no support. Yes the England team were not great and we did lose to India at home but still.

Cummins probably on the phone to his pr manager. Dropped my view of him

Justin Langer resigns as Test coach with immediate effect, camp blames 'faceless few,' CA reacts

I would lean towards a specialist opener if Warner can’t play and off the back of streets ton against English lions you would go with him,

Neser vs Richardson is a tough one.

Second Test preview: Neser or Richardson?

Huh? Street made a ton in the second innings. You want a opener to see of the new ball.

Second Test preview: Neser or Richardson?

Auba hasn’t been the same since his payrise in his new deal. You expect your captain to be setting the standards. Rumours Barcelona are sniffing around. Arsenal have some good young strikers coming through so at least that is something, obviously not on Auba level yet when he is on song.

'Painful': Arsenal strip Aubameyang of captaincy, no guarantees he'll play again

So hanging out for some test match cricket, can’t wait.

We all know Starc will be picked but shouldn’t be.

Will be interesting to see what wickets await. Will they be roadish to try and wear out the older english bowlers in Anderson & Broad. Although England have been rotating bowlers in test series for awhile now.

A lot of Australia team will be lacking red ball cricket and coming off the India series.

Will Broad torment Warner again? How will some of England’s other up and coming bowlers go?

Australia heavily relying on labs / smith for batting and England Root.

Australia struggled to take 20 wickets against India except Adelaide, will the same happen again?

Gotta love Ashes cricket, cmon Aussies

The Ashes XI to whitewash England

Wright a 7? Obviously missed his horrible defence for the try, the silly penalty he gave away, not stepping in when getting the ball wide and getting bundled over the line and the other mistakes.

VOTE: Wallabies player ratings vs Japan

Inglis should be ahead of Wade in 20-20, better gloveman, batting better.
