With the latest news coming thru in the press about an alleged altercation in a “ mordialloc pub” last weekend with paddy and hilly- couldn’t come at a worse time for saints- or better time for Carlton. Agree with you pat- saints could win this Friday night . But vossy knows how important it will be to back up off a great win last week& almost set finals (top4) in lock position -& this knowledge will trickle down into the playing group .look forward to the game &feel we will be able to identify within 20 mins if saints are on or disinterested.

I know some die hard dog supporters who can’t believe Lewis young was even moved on. Macca he has been a revelation last few weeks. Can I clarify something- who is Carlton’s chief recruiter ATM – he has done an amazing job – adding to SOS brilliant work earlier before Cain liddle went above his payGrade and locked horns with a Carlton great and SOS walked .

They were “ highly unlikely “ to roll Freo. Or Richmond- or dogs – even Sydney. I appreciate voss’ mantra- game at a time & Carlton play stKilda next- who many will say they are unlikely to get the 4 points. We will get to work on Friday nights game- a few big ins for saints- will be a more challenging assignment than the last game .

Delicious article Tim- I enjoyed every morsel. It’s exciting to wonder what Carlton could do come September. Interesting comments by longmuir in his pressa” we put work into Cripps- but Hewett bobbed up& is a very good player” longmuir was clearly guttered by the loss & hinted at the bye causing the lack of continuity . With the saints performance tonight- I feel very confident next Friday night. I can’t wait for the Geelong game- Saturday night Blockbuster. Thanks again Tim.

Honey in great form, Dow needs another crack . Kemp will be on the radar. Cripps may float down back this week& JSOS. Cripps really been so good this year& sacrificed his own game for the club- plugging holes everywhere. Will most likely cost him Charlie but his efforts could get us where we need to be with players coming in at the business end. Cripps is the best captain going Around IMO.
Look out if we somehow hand onto top 4 come September-& the likes of pittonett- McGovern, weitering- Ed curnow -and co are fit and available..

McKay & curnow will bag 12 between them this week-& Carlton get the four points comfortably. This game will be won in the centre . Cripps – Hewett – Kennedy &saad will deliver the pill on a platter all afternoon.. Carlton are very well coached & wont drop this.
