After a bit of a break from pumping out the articles I have now moved onto my five favourite Welsh players. As mentioned previously,…
After completing the first three of my articles, I have now decided to move up to the northern hemisphere. I am aware that Argentina…
I’m going to start this edition with a little disclaimer. This was without a doubt the hardest one to write. I’m an Aussie and…
After last week’s article on my five favourite Wallabies, this edition is going to focus upon our boerewors-loving friends across the Indian Ocean. A…
As I was lying awake in bed last night, unable to sleep, I started thinking - like I often do - about rugby. I…
Great job as always! Danny Nutley might have been in with a shout? Around ’06?
Jogging the state of your Origin memory: The Queensland Maroons you may have forgotten
Gutted. Was super excited to watch him play. His performance two years ago was sensational.
Stephen 'Bradbury' Crichton in hot seat with Latrell out of Origin but Fittler certain Cleary will play
I would put him in that company, he’s that good
SRP talking points: Eddie everywhere offers something Rennie never could, how Rodda can channel Eales
The very top echelon of 9s is where Smith sits for me. Possibly the top. He is just a simply outstanding player. A privilege to watch even though he’s caused so much pain for my tahs and wallabies.

Gotta be hard for you Oz, as an Irish fan. As a Wasp fan I felt you pain recently and hopefully it doesn’t come to that for your boys but it isn’t looking good.
Exclusive: Salakaia-Loto signs with Rebels to rocket into RWC mix as two leave, Force bring home another Aussie
Might want to rewatch the games again champ. Especially the Irish and Wales games. Try having both eyes open, generally helps when being objective
Rugby News: Ex-PM says RA has succumbed to 'moral blackmail' after 'regrettable' Voice stance revealed
Ummmmm did you not watch them last year? He was arguably their best performer on the EOY tour? There’s literally a video in this article of him “performing for the wallabies” in their last test? He’s subsequently taken that form and confidence into this season with the Tahs. Eddie Jones, the current wallaby coach is quoted in the article saying how impressed he is by him. I’m not sure why I am asking but did you read the article?
Rugby News: Ex-PM says RA has succumbed to 'moral blackmail' after 'regrettable' Voice stance revealed
I watched the replay this morning and rewound that bit twice because I thought I was seeing things. As you said, shocking. That was deplorable from him. If I was a teammate or capt. I would be absolutely ropable with that effort
REACTION: Thorn hailed for 'perfect storm' that blindsided everyone in one of the 'top two wins of his tenure'
Always enjoy your analysis highlander and I think you’ve nailed it once again. 👍
REACTION: Thorn hailed for 'perfect storm' that blindsided everyone in one of the 'top two wins of his tenure'
Enjoy the win. Was a hell of a performance and any rugby fan, not matter their nationality or state allegiance should applaud it.

Not true but keep believing that
If you are a professional athlete who’s overweight, criticism over your fitness is not necessarily fat-shaming
Just to be clear I was comparing Joey and Ben Cousins not Schuster
If you are a professional athlete who’s overweight, criticism over your fitness is not necessarily fat-shaming
Different sport but similar story Ben Cousins was exactly the same for the West Coast Eagles in the AFL. One of the hardest trainers, wore it as a badge of honour being the hardest trainer in the club. Used his extra curricular activities as a reward

Ummm 2001?
England should stop worrying about pitches, boundary ropes and Smith’s county stint to sort out glaring weakness
Must’ve been something special to take him down! Any particular games or YouTube highlights I should check out?
How would the 13 Immortals fare in the modern game, and what positions would they play?
As always Tony, much appreciated for the article and no surprise they would kill it. I just can’t believe Mal was that big, I was just a kid and we’d only recently moved to NSW when he was still kicking around but F me! How did anyone ever stop him??!!!
How would the 13 Immortals fare in the modern game, and what positions would they play?
Just a huge thank you from me Nic. I looked forward to Wednesday every week because of your articles and the unique perspective and professionalism you always provided. Not sure where you’re writing now but hopefully somewhere we can visit and interact with you again soon. Cheers mate
To catch SRP's ‘haves’, the Waratahs and Reds need to find their spine
Jez, I’m getting sick and tired of this but for the last time. It’s Tah bias. Everything that’s wrong is caused by this omnipresent scourge on rugby’s society
The Wrap: Old habits creep back into Super Rugby, and they’re not welcome
Tahs bias Jez. Get with the programme!
Reds need someone to cut through the bulls--t: Cheika is the right choice at right time
The Richard Graham Approach I believe it’s called
'Messy and unclear': Skipper launches staunch defence of Thorn as Quade, Horwill question Reds' game plan
Perfectly said. I thoroughly enjoy both codes and hate the “rivalry” rubbish. I’ve played and coached both and can see the appeal of both
Hagan’s Round 4 Talking Points: Suaalii switch no drama for NRL, Slater's ideal for Storm gig, Maroons' next coach is ready
You can’t help but like the Sharkies. Hynes was like Andrew Johns today, just outstanding. Kennedy was great. Special praise to Mulitalo he’s a sensational player and just looks like he absolutely loves playing. Definitely one of my favourite players to watch. Enjoy Sharkie fans
ANALYSIS: Nicho dominates on return, but Dragons need to have long, hard look at themselves
I agree and it is such a tricky issue to navigate for ex players no matter the code.
'The medical evidence is clear': AFL hit by staggering class action over concussions
Thing is, I remember years ago reading an interview with Max Rooke saying how he was jealous of players who play rugby and league as they get to smash each other. He wore the enforcer tag like a badge of honour, I’d imagine it wouldn’t be too difficult for the AFL to find the article either.

Hope you’re alright Ozinsa! As mentioned previously, as a Wasps fan I feel your pain. So sad for everybody involved with the club. If I was the head of an Aussie team I’d be on the phone to Hoskins though.
