Yes Geoff and as nick bishop pointed out it takes teams 2 years at least generally for them to catch onto , buy in , to the new coaches ways. Just as we are learning the Gibbo ways I don’t think getting a new coach now is the right move. Gibbo and cron seem to be working well together ..it ain’t broke !!!

I certainly agree DP helps with attack but how hard is it to learn how to tackle too. And mistakes are mistakes whether in our half or their half. They cruelled the reds. Simple coach killer ones. Like lance not finding touch on that penalty. ?wtf.
A Reds flyhalf theory
Brett as others have said the gulf in games between us v Italy and Ireland v nuns was just huge. Watching us then the Ireland game one after the other highlighted all that is poor about our game. How we would love a Farrell and smidt coaching our team.
Man on man I don’t believe the Irish have any more talented players than the wallabies but their attitude and tactics and cleverness and game plan and team work were just great to see. Just a well coached team with a clear plan on how to defeat the all blacks with incredible commitment.
Any talks of us progressing far in the WC are just people sitting round a park having a Sunday picnic. ….small talk not imbued with a lot of sense.
We can only hope for a new coaching regime with some people that know what they are doing post 2019. Till then it’s titanic deck chairs I’m afraid.
