it’s all over after 2 hours of football at Etihad Stadium. Perth Glory will rightly feel hard done by after some controversial refereeing, but they should have closed it out earlier. Shane Smeltz’s penalty miss in the 88th minute came back to haunt them, and Melbourne were clinical after some good fortune in the dying moments. They’ll have plenty of confidence going into the semi-finals, while Perth will have to wait another season. Amazing scenes
