Unbelievable scrums are part of Rugby, some would say the best part. Take that away and rugby will be like that othere sport who have dumbed there game down.
There are better ways to speed the game up and that would becto play to the laws of the game.
1. No meetings before a lineout
2. When the ball is out of a ruck it is out, not when 1/2 back lifts it
3. Quicker setting of scrums, they take an age now.
4. If an injury play on If the player is not seriously injured. If a front rower (who wants a spell) play on with Golden oldies scrums. They will soon stop the time wasting
If teams still wast time 1 warning then penalise them. Ref’s need to referee not be all the players friends.

Scrums banned from free-kicks, 20-min red cards and shotclocks: World Rugby tries to speed up the game

Sorry Bodger but the Saders were worse than poor. They were a disorganised rapell.

True re Bell, but not yet in McAllister class as a scrummager

It wasn’t late, nothing to sort out.
Irrelevant the size of the tackled player.

'Purely coincidental': Chiefs coach defends bruiser after ANOTHER late shot leaves Tah flattened - but was it legal?

Having McAllister there helped as well, top class scrummage, need that at hooked.
Hopefully Saders keep the same loose forward trio. Christie doesn’t offer enough

'We got our pants pulled down': Rebels smashed in reality check as Crusaders keep finals hopes alive

Crusaders played like a rabble, is the only thing they practise is kicking
Every time they got a 1/2 break they would kick it and lose position.
Need to get rid of Hinz, Havilli, the slow 1st five.
They have nurtured Kumara for 2 years, give him a go with McLead and Amura out side him.
Bell is a fine players but what gave they do e to his throwing.
Coaches obviously watch a different game to me

Blues beat Crusaders for first time in 10 years, Chiefs survive late scare

Nick
Did you watch it, definitely didn’t check out. Just not up to it rugby wise
Hurricanes are very good this year, organised and fit

Hurricanes put half-century on Rebels in ugly scoreline for embattled Super Rugby franchise as injuries add up

Penny and his other selectors obviously saw a different game last week to me.
Slow 1/2 back kept slow ponderous 1st 5 kept.
Should be Drummond and Kemara give the kid a go. Put Aumua at 2nd five Crotty Center McLead on 1 wing and Havilli at Fulback. Springer on the Bench.

Forwards not so bad, LiLo Willie must be injured

Super Rugby teams: Tupou benched, Jorgo back for Fiji trip, Petaia sidelined, Swain surprise

He is actually from Canterbury

Super Rugby teams: Tupou benched, Jorgo back for Fiji trip, Petaia sidelined, Swain surprise

I have always said the reason Ausdies like AFL and NRL better because there is always an Aussie winner.

Passionate, visceral, irrational tribalism is vital for any competition to succeed. Is a lack of it damaging Super Rugby?

I wonder if Kemara is over ruled by Havilli
He must have some talent for Razor to Bring him down last year
Fihaki is too indecisive
Be better with Reece there and McLead on the wing, if they aren’t playing him in the midfield.
Christie really only tackles, and never dominant. Need size in that job

Scott Robertson did but can Penney turn the Crusaders' trainwreck season around?

Kemara wasn’t that bad Havilli is the issue
Let getvsome decent selections, the last 1st 5 V Canes looked and played like a slow flanker. Alec Harford a born and Breed Cantabrian should have been called in as Soon as Burke injured.
Where is Li Lo Willie one of there best players last year. Tom Christine’s time must be done, way too small in a team whose pack isn’t dominating.
Grace Blackadder and Li Lo moving forward Gardner in reserves
There was a reason Fihaki wasn’t back up to Jordan last year, watched him in NPC and SR this year nothing re his play had changed.
Stop 80% of the Bix kicking. Get rid of the 48 year old 1/2 back

Scott Robertson did but can Penney turn the Crusaders' trainwreck season around?
