ANALYSIS: Reynolds sends Blues reminder with stunning late try in dramatic Broncos turnaround
Lots of BLUE desperate dialogue here , how about positions 1 to 17 ANYONE want to have a go? Queensland won’t care
The changes in selections - and interchange rotations - Fittler must make to save his bacon in Origin II
wow!!!!!!!!!!! well, i wonder what our friends in the Broncos’ admin are thinking after giving Jamine Osaako THE SHOVE a couple of years ago . After all he won the rookie of the year award. Firstly , he deserves an apology from a bent knee from the Broncos and a plea for forgiveness. Continuing best wishes for this wonderful talent. No empathy from the donkey admin over his family ‘s loss.He appears to be a wonderful human being . Best of luck , Jamine
ANALYSIS: Marshall-King and Milford pile on the pain as Dolphins cruise by Dragons - with captain De Belin sent to bin

Could just about select another team of reserves which would do the trick too
Origin I predicted teams: Maroons star announces surprise retirement, Blues in a spin over form and injury concerns
I have never appreciated Mr Thompson’s calls or the high pitched , over excited exaggerated claytons drama right from the 1st day of commentary
Unfortunately , i have appreciated the likes of RAY W, Richie Benaud, Alan McGilvray and their style of delivery by far with a tolerant acceptance of many others eg Darryl Eastlake , Billy J Smith & co,
Time to have a self listen to your vociferous over animated gabble Mr Thompson ,remembering you are putting yourself out there and the public either has to listen or turn off the volume / voice button
NRL Round 9 preview talking points: Wighton right on, NZ stooged again and please stop shouting, Mr Thompson
neither team were up to the level
Souths didn’t come to play , so evident in the early section where they stood around in bunches and played the majority of the game one out and kick on the sixth
I wouldn’t be placing much confidence on either side on last nights’ efforts as most high profile contestants went missing
Some seem to be lacking in fitness but Edwards and Martin both busted their boilers in effort
ANALYSIS: Cleary under injury cloud after Panthers kick season into gear with dominant win over Souths
Wonder what ONE EYED Vautin has to say now .Time to shut your mouth Vautin!!
ANALYSIS: Bennett's back baby! Dolphins shock NRL as Roosters have their pants pulled down
gordon , great player, unrivaled for mine but seems to carry a grudge , best he does a spell check on attitude
NRL Trials week 2 team lists: Broncos star ruled out, Panthers trio sidelined, Ponga returns
It’s my opinion that no individual player should make comments regarding the team culture, results, summaries or coaching towards the media or press
A dedicated individual should be appointed for releases ie the captain or a member of the administration and not anyone player with an advantage to mouth off , obviously i am referring to the Broncos
The coach and captain are obligated to give a a post match interview , the others are ” no comment ”
Get some discipline BRONCOS
Why Walters should walk: Support among Broncos players clearly dwindling
From the start, Wighton was not on my list but i think that’s a Mal – Ricky connection. Wighton is not this standard of competition [ and this is below SOO ]. NZ would do well to target Wighton as i see this as the weakest point in the Aussie side. Campbell Graham would be a much more secure selection and has backed that up in earlier games. I hope Mal instructs Wighton stay out of the play and pass the ball straight away , that’s if he catches it . i’ll hold my breath if he gets the pill expecting him to stuff it up again. Good luck to the ROOs carrying this passenger
Joey vs Teddy and the battle of the left: Breaking down the Kangaroos-Kiwis World Cup semi-final
Hey Barry,
We can always rely on your class to bring the common sense issue into these emotional opinions. Thanks for the stability
'He feels like part of the team now': Cleary stars in halfback audition as Kangaroos savage sorry Scotland
and a forward pass for a Tonga try . PNG ripped off . Some Bunker decisions were pathetic
RLWC Daily: Tonga edge PNG in thriller, Doueihi appeal rejected, Graham celebrates 50th cap - three years late
my preference is Billy Slater, the top 4 are on their own but i regard Dylan Edwards a class FB and better to make this list a TOP 5.
For mine a full back also has to have great positional play and defence skills , few below this 5 have the compete package
25 in 25: Who were best fullbacks of NRL era - Slater, Lockyer, Tedesco, Minichiello, Hayne, RTS, GI, Turbo?
NSW wouldn’t go wrong to select the basis of the PENRITH PANTHERS and fill the unqualified positions with the best from other clubs. NSW don’t have that special spiritual and brotherhood ingredient as do the MAROONS always had , that’s been stated many times before.
The PANTHERS have a semblance in their club that is why they are a great TEAM
That won’t happen over night as a selection of various good players and that creates a situation where good players aren’t up to ORIGIN standards. Some Penrith players may have to be disregarded even so , but that’s only my opinion. The MAROONS were selected to do an individual job and they did it together this time . Good coaching and management and of course SPIRIT
KURT GIDLEY: Blues don't need to panic but must change tactics, bench for Origin II
The EGO may be bigger than the ability ? As a Bronco supporter primarily ,i’d take Tom Flegler 2 times before Haas. I don’t think the Broncos will suffer too much when he goes missing , they have plenty to fill the little crack and i feel he’s lucky to be on their books considering his history outside of footy. Past times , the Broncos have let go some individuals for indiscretions ,maybe a lot the public isn’t aware of . On your bike Payne Haas
'Pony up': Broncos must do whatever it takes to keep Haas as Origin star requests immediate release
That would be cruel for the Cowboys
'A punch in the face': Walters says Broncos need to get up off the canvas after crushing Cowboys defeat
Love your optimism KK , I’ll hold my punt for the Broncos for a while even though the positive indications are there. Carrigan is a different unit this year, never seen him pass the ball so much. I doubted his ability in the past to the point where i would have let him go ,but am looking forward to bigger and better things this year. Hope they can build on this start. Yes they’ve got the talent to go well
Skills are great, but brains help too: NRL Round 2 talking points
Reynolds out, saves him from the total embarrassment of a first game , first round thrashing
But that will be the first of many this season , i feel sorry for this talent
NRL NEWS: Cronk to the rescue for Storm halves, Reynolds COVID risk, CHT open to offers
Hi STU,
Good article, regarding the game only ,disregarding the other financial sector, i feel that introduction would change the game for the better. i would appreciate the change
Does rugby league’s future lie in four 20-minute quarters?
From the start i really liked ISAAKO and he did an excellent job in the rookie year. Obviously he had a lot of concerning issues recently but something else is going on with him and the Broncos. If he can see out this next season could be a great buy for the Dolphins and if so , Bennett will develop him to another level and i think that’s what he needs. ISAAKO won’t get much time on the field with the Broncos this next season sad to say. Good luck to him
Can the Brisbane Broncos rise back into finals contention in 2022?
Wendell Sailor recieved 2 years suspension for drugs, WHAT!!!! One or two games suspension for these blokes? I love watching these players and see something special in their game but this is another NRL let down or at 74 yo have i got it wrong?
Four NRL players cop fines and suspensions for bringing the game into disrepute
Sterlo was one of the greatest along side Langer and Thurston. I never saw him play but have seen plenty on film. He’d be great even in today’s game and what a fantastic personality to boot
Thanks STERLO
A tribute to league commentary legend Peter Sterling
Great player , great to watch but not on the same planet as Munster
Is Cody Walker the best five-eighth in the competition?
WHAT???? You’d have to be a miracle worker to turn around 6 years of nothing and overratedness
Milford isn’t worth a place in the QLD cup
The Broncos have wasted so much money on the hunch that he’d come good and especially where they could have been developing a few new talents but also the Broncos format in the last 6 years hasn’t been worth any consideration
Can South Sydney bring back the old Anthony Milford?
may have something to do with the coaching staff, the Roosters haven’t much to gloat about
Maroons player ratings: DCE delivers master class, forwards trample Blues opponents and the beast from the bench
