Your right Matti, i am not big on Rucks but i think this bloke is going to be special. I read a article today saying he could have a impact even next year, that is rare for big blokes. Freo have to take him at 7 if he does not go earlier.

AFL Phantom Draft 2019: An early top 30

Luke Jackson has firmed to be top ten with the news he has added two cm to hit 200cm puts to bed he might be to short to be a ruck man and boy he can leap.

AFL Phantom Draft 2019: An early top 30

Seriously macca, do you take what Don say’s seriously. Giving up pick 7 in the draft for Jack Martin is absurd, of course any one with any knowledge of the game would know that. I think he was thinking of Dustin or just being silly maybe.

Brad Hill was reported to be on $650,000 at Freo and he is a A grader, he is on more now but good luck to him. Possibly overs at $900,000.

He is still only 24 yo a change of clubs so he could get better but the price is still inflated IMO. I think Don was thinking Dustin.

Martin played for Railways in Geraldton the GNNFL. He was B.O.G. in the G.F. at the age of 16 up against hardened men, i was at the game it was a sensational effort. Cripps played for Northampton a farming based team north of Geraldton but in the same League. His uncle was a sensational footballer but due to farming commitments was never seen at WAFL level. He was good as and built like Patrick and had exceptional pace.

I cant believe $700,000 for Jack, i would think he is $400 000 max. a handy player not a A grader, would not rank inside 100 of the best players in the competition. Papley yes, but i don’t think Jack is going to impact that much at all. Gee, no wonder he only want’s to go to Carlton at that heavily inflated price.

I agree Josh Caleb Serong has to be Freo’s fist pick if still available he has no flaws. Although not tall ( taller than Neale ) he has brilliant disposal skills and a ball magnet. Robertson a WA boy would be great of course but he is not top ten he has inherited the family gene not being a good kick. His famous uncle was a Eagles great but he was a poor kick.Jackson is a must as a back up in case Darcy gets injured, they are light on for ruck men.

I reckon St Kilda did really well they the got 5 very, very good footballers exactly who they targeted great effort. This will improve them immensely. Jack Steven did not want to be there, Acres was going through the motions. A new great coach they will be a far better team. Ryder may be ageing but he is a smart player who will help Max King in his first year. A very smart trade for mine.

Three big winners from the trade period

Very poor one on one. Ross did not try it once ! Mr Negative. JLo will be a breath of fresh air.

Take your points Nolzie, just my opinion as i see it as a outsider, a chance i am wrong and i will put my hand up. Richmond look good things to go back to back. Multiple injuries the only danger.

AFL Trades 2019 report card: Every club graded

That is the point Darling has overtaken Kennedy, who is sliding big time. Darling will never ever be the footballer that Kennedy was. Brander and these potential guys take years before you see there best. Hurn is the leader in the back half. The Guv was very ordinary in the last few games, dropping simple marks. The Eagles performance at home against the Hawks showed worrying signs .Kelly will help big time no doubt, but he is only one player.

AFL Trades 2019 report card: Every club graded

Sorry, Kennedy and Hurn.

AFL Trades 2019 report card: Every club graded

C’mon Nolzie your better than that. Try McGovern and Captain Hurn.

How many Good players have put themselves in the draft in the past 16 years.

I rate Lee Montagna’s comments on Acres a lot better than than the knockers on this site, he has played with him as well. He is not a A grader He is 24yo 191 x 90 played 56 games and kicked 56 goals mainly on a wing had a few injury problems.Back home in Perth on the big Optus ground this kid is capable off being more of than a handy TEAM player. Aish is similar both wanted by there new coach. Don’t underestimate what JLo can make these young kids. They wont win a Doig medal or be champions but they will silence the knockers and be more than handy TEAM players.

Freo should be A plus.Longmuir for Lyon is the best trade and half the cost long term, bigger than Kelly. Belly did pretty well in a tough one. Freo’s future is fine. St Kilda will improve with the 5 they got plus a real good coach. Carlton, probably win the spoon. Adding a 33 yo to your playing list! Forget the mentor stuff he could have done that in the club house. Papley was a must. Even Martin will have little impact if it happens.Kelly is a champion keeps there finals alive but one player in a list with there best back and forward 33 yo and gave away the farm. Huge gamble. Geelong are the long term winners. Big watch on the Bulldogs.

Roberson at 7 do you think ?

AFL trade news: Brad Hill, Paddy Ryder, Jonathon Patton, Sam Jacobs and more

Approx 22. If St Kilda finish bottom 4 actually it will be 19-20 -21 or 22. That can change a little.

Hopefully Hogan and Taberner don’t breakdown again next year as they could end up at Hawthorn.

AFL trade news: Brad Hill, Paddy Ryder, Jonathon Patton, Sam Jacobs and more

7- 10 and 22 gives you the 3 best WA boys and a second year approx 22 is not bad with Acres and Aish. JLo obviously rates Aish. Could be better of course, tomorrow will tell.

AFL trade news: Brad Hill, Paddy Ryder, Jonathon Patton, Sam Jacobs and more

Yeah have to agree on that.

AFL trade news: Brad Hill, Paddy Ryder, Jonathon Patton, Sam Jacobs and more

Pick ten and next years first rounder is a better option. But it looks like what you say. Aish is a utility player could be the answer to Langdon.

AFL trade news: Brad Hill, Paddy Ryder, Jonathon Patton, Sam Jacobs and more

Aish is a handy replacement for Langdon. What is he worth ? On real big dollars is the reason pies are keen to off load him.
