Freo never learn remember Sandilands, Ballantyne ,S.Hill and more given contract extensions when clearly past it. Now it’s Fyfe,Taberner and Darcy. Darcy clearly can’t run out games overweight actually fat carrying a huge knee bandage for years. Sad situation……

I wouldn’t class Freos captain hair as a style everyone has had long hair at some stage in life but his is unbelievably bad. Worse even than Nic Nats.

Freo’s only chance to play finals is if the talented Amiss and Treacy can emerge quickly and Fyfe can somehow stay on the park……. history says otherwise.Forget Taberner who like Fyfe can’t string games together and has a heart as big as a pea anyway.Mundy simply can’t be replaced and O’Meara has a long history like Nat and Tabs. If the captain had a haircut would be ideal as well.

Freo will never win a premiership if they continue to play Taberner but luckily he will continue to suffer with injuries. Hopefully Fyfe can string games together but it’s extremely unlikely.

Johnno-You missed the point I was making it was not about last year ! My concern is the future for Erasmus and Johnson and you yourself posted this yourself. They didn’t need O’Meara and they will play the six I mentioned in front of these two impressive young players and they will become like Meek and move on for a better opportunity.

Freo haven’t shown any faith in Erasmus and Johnson they will play Brayshaw,Serong,Brodie,Fyfe and now O’Meara through there plus Aish who regularly starts in the middle in a tagging role. O’Meara wasn’t really needed and his preference was to go to GWS but they wouldn’t to commit to a 4 year contract.

One stat which is not available is Darcy has left the ground early on numerous occasions if you watched all his games. He is a very good player but inconsistent and love to see him trim up so he can run out games. Lobb rucked a lot as well and had a impact up forward unlike Darcy.

Johnno is right Freo has put itself in a very vulnerable position. Losing Lobb and Meek and bringing in a aged mid is not smart. Darcy misses a lot of footy for a young bloke hopefully he can turn that around. There is huge pressure on the promising Amiss and Treacy to step up otherwise it will be the same old weak forward line.

Your spot on Dean. Meek will become the steal of this draft. I have know doubt he will become a top order Ruckman and more importantly kick a lot of goals. Freo will regret offering a few more dollars to stay.

The only possible reason Hird can’t get the gig is all the shite that went down it would not worry me but some fans of Essendon are against it obviously. Great call berlins Darcy had a very poor game but he has had a good year. Don as we know is just being smart or maybe he just can’t see reality. Darcy as I say is a good player but very slow and shows at times he is struggling mentally which some fans don’t recognise.

Logue was dropped a couple of times because his hesitation attacking the footy so going to North for more money makes sense but Clarko won’t tolerate any of that.

Zero marks for Darcy no impact no help at all for young Amiss when he was resting up forward . Been handy at times this year but mentally falls short still very slow. Meek is more mobile takes big marks and kicks goals has a big future absolutely burning at Peel in the finals. Heaps of clubs chasing this bloke a tragedy if he goes.

Keep Meek he is ready to impact big time at AFL will be or my opinion already better than Darcy who is vulnerable in a lot of areas. Geelong want him home and it makes it a lot easier to get Jackson. Go hard for the Pies tall forward as well.
