This bloke is a clown, get rid of him . He thinks he is bigger than the game.

Razor Ray holds up play to give Dees defender a talking to

Jordan, I do not want to ignite the real reason why a contracted player walks out, but he was obviously not happy being at Freo. Like you said he was never going to bag the coach or players to the media. Perhaps he will write a book one day.

Would Nat Fyfe and Lachie Neale like to swap spots now?

Two first round picks for Neale was a steal for Freo.

Great read Jordan, your stats do tell a story, as a freo fan i would not swap Fyfe for Neale. Fyfe really impacts games, don’t get me wrong Lachie is a very good player mainly at stoppages and bounce downs but as his last two games have indicated he is exposed to fast teams he gets caught out going the other way and although he has stamina he is slow. I really do not think he is a major loss at freo.

Good point 6×6 Freo has always had a lot of salary cap space, but with Hogan and Lobb it’s probably getting tight. This is why i have been critical of wasting money on crocks like Sandilands, Ballantyne and Bennell. They could of have three kids on the list as well does not make sense.

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Round 5

I guess it depends if Langdon want’s to play in a premiership side or not. That depends entirely on what decision Freo make on Lyon. Ed like Lachie loves Freo so i doubt he goes anywhere.

The Eagles are simply the best. Lots of rain coming to Perth, which could help Port, good roughie.

The evidence suggests my good friend AD, is leading with 17 no sign of 23 correct. Any one who has anymore than 18 simply knows very little about footy. I only missed one last week Macca’s mob, basically i was just being silly picking against the crowd. Two teams that copped a hammering this week will win are Carlton and Adelaide.

Insane to even think about it, Peter.

Probably not to many goals this week, Ross is talking playing Hogan in the back line.

He has clarified nothing Don, don’t talk rubbish. Case closed and wait for the book for me. Keep chewing on it if you please. Cheers !

AFL media misses the point, yet again

Thanks Don, i would love to put to rest the Neale issue, Firstly i never ever said your line “Neale hates Freo”. What i said was Lachie who was in the leadership group, was not happy at Freo and virtually walked out even though he was still contracted. Peter Bell said it was his priority to match the Lions offer and keep him at Freo, which failed. Neale left, if he was happy at Freo he would still be there. You for months kept posting he would never leave Freo, you were wrong. Lachie was never going to publicly bag the players or the club, it might of been different if they tried to force him to his contract. Belly will know why, and maybe Lachie will write a book one day.

One for AD in the Freo news starved state of SA.
In a interview between Pavlich and Bell it was revealed Sandilands has possibly played his last game for Freo still suffering the calf injury he sustained last year. I was attacked last year for suggesting he and Ballantyne should not be given another contract. Waste of money and space on the list. Bennell also went for more scans yesterday.

The confused, wayward Crows have no connection to their better past

Great call about Fyfe, Mundy should be still the Captain. Lachie Neale would have been good, probably another one of his reasons for walking out even though he was under contract. He is the face of Brisbane now with another media interview yesterday. Very rarely did he do that at Freo. The Dockers need a complete change in leadership, especially the coaching staff. I am stunned Webber has survived his job as well.

Certainly no sense of humor !

Pretty poor Roar, it is why this forum is dying fast.

Good luck to you that’s great.

AFL media misses the point, yet again

Talking of media, Lachie Neale was interviewed again yesterday, seems to be the media’s go to man at Brisbane with regular interviews. Playing well, and seems to be enjoying his new role after walking out of his old club while still under contract.

There was a lot of moisture on the ground at Optus Sat.night very slippery which obviously effected the skills but it was a bludy good game. I watched the replay after and i can understand the frustration of some of the TV viewers but the cameras were shocking. People who do not attend the games, should not be so critical. The contest was outstanding, cannot wait for the next one.

Brendon Bolton and Stephen Silvagni are dead men walking at Carlton

I have spent time in Darwin where i think ( stand to be corrected ) is more humid than the gold coast. I never saw any moisture on the ground in the daylight hours except when it rained, and it dried out very quickly. But i have no idea what it was like at the game on the G.Coast on the weekend.

I agree Seano, it is unbelievable the kicking for goal inside 30 metres its getting worse. It is there job there supposed be pros. No excuses.

Jack is right about Robbo and Barrett “take them with a grain of salt” if you don’t like them or like there voice, turn it off. They are entitled to there opinion even if you do not agree, and you might find some of there comments are more sensible than yours.

AFL media misses the point, yet again

Great call Grand-Dag.

AFL media misses the point, yet again

Sorry AD your wrong on this one, Contracted players and Leaders of clubs do not just walk out and leave to go to other clubs for anonymity. That is purely head in the sand stuff believing that.
