Here we go again….The Eagles will probably make the top 4 only because of there ”strong home ground advantage” correct me if i am wrong but there not going that well at home, but did they not beat Collingwood recently, and in the GF on Collingwoods home ground. Are Geelong, Adelaide, Brisbane, Richmond, GWS and Port Adelaide who make up the 8 more disadvantaged than the Eagles. Are Essendon, Sydney, Hawthorn, Melbourne and the rest not in the 8 because they have not got a home ground advantage. Biased reporting for mine !

The Eagles are a false flag contender

Melbourne perhaps have done a Freo, rushed a extended long term coaching contract.

The dazzling, dreadful Demons have no plan

Darcy’s track record is 15 games in 2 and a half years. Young and shows some promise but has hardly shown that he is going to be a dominate factor and he has got a long way to go. With Lobb gone Darcy and hopefully Meek is given a chance as well, he could well be another Rory O’Brien played well in a couple of JLT games last year.

Five talking points from AFL Round 12

Matti your call a idiot is fine you say, that is exactly what a flog is, harmless.

Why the AFL is right to remove abusive spectators

I am sick of rule changes far to many, although one i like is the one penalise the tackler tackling the tackler, common sense would stop the ugly scrums. Schoolyard stuff.

Eight simple rules (to change) to make the AFL better

I just asked my year 12 grandson what a flog was, his reply a idiot and said in his circle of friends it was not classed as offensive a bit of a laugh actually.

Why the AFL is right to remove abusive spectators

No ads on Fox Footy, get a great Sports package for as little as $9 a week.

Why the AFL is right to remove abusive spectators

I have been a farmer and all the farmers i knew animal welfare was always a top priority, but in life there is always a minority. Vegan activists are a low life.

Why the AFL is right to remove abusive spectators

If the AFL does pursue pettiness the crowds will in fact get smaller don’t worry about that they will go to pubs have a BBQ in the backyard sit in there lounge rooms and not pay to go live, nothing surer. I have been to 95% of Freo games including travel to Adelaide, Victoria, Sydney, Qld and Tassie. Also Eagles games in the 80s and 90s all the State of Origin games in Perth. The crowds are no different. We change the rules every week. Time to leave the game alone for a while.

Why the AFL is right to remove abusive spectators

I wont be around in 20 years time but i think all the fans will be wearing dog muzzles.

Why the AFL is right to remove abusive spectators

Good question is it really that bad ?

Why the AFL is right to remove abusive spectators

All this is going to achieve is more booing, the poor old umpire in question is going to cop it. Umpires and players should just do there job and not point to the crowd leave that to the police and security. If the AFL want to do something to help the game they should tell one umpire in particular to stop coaching the players.

Why the AFL is right to remove abusive spectators

The umpire appears to shave his head daily or weekly whats the problem being called bald ?

Why the AFL is right to remove abusive spectators

Thanks Stirling, it looks like you want everyone to agree with you.

Why the AFL is right to remove abusive spectators

The AFL will do what they like. “A bald headed flog” this chap shaves his head daily, weekly. So he has no problem being bald headed ? He could wear a hat, also prevents skin cancer. Flog ? is that bad ? i did not think so but i am probably wrong. Because as Col said it is a regular word on Fox Footy. I think it is Political madness, but i am veteran in life so i am probably wrong again.

Why the AFL is right to remove abusive spectators

I said at the start of the year Cripps will become the best player in the comp, and his effort on the weekend was sensational, he has not the support of good players around him like some of the other guns. He may not win the Brownlow but he is by a long way the best.

Five talking points from AFL Round 12

Sorry spruse but it is you that is ” not seeing it ” your quote ”So the healing can begin” the healing begun years ago and is still progressing but you cannot grasp it and i don’t think you want to even try. There will always be a odd idiot call on social media or at the game you will never stamp it out, but look for the positives and stop all the negative stuff. I think the majority are trying. After the movie which probably will not help, there will probably more calls ‘we need to do more’ when in fact there has been huge progress, but a lot of the younger city dwellers cannot see it.

AFL apologises for failures in Goodes saga

Just listen to Neale Daniher’s speech makes this saga insignificant. Life is tough don’t whinge…….deal with it.

AFL apologises for failures in Goodes saga

A hell of a lot of waffle Jero, your like Mundine you won’t look at the positives of what the government and the AFL have been doing for the last 10 years. You think by running out making a movie and of course money to tell the nasty white trash how bad they are is going to help. Prior to most major events in this country aboriginals and TSI are given priority to strut there stuff. Most want to move on……But there are a minority of people that will keep whinging and will never be happy.

AFL apologises for failures in Goodes saga

Just recently two University teaches were sacked, but were found by the tribunal to be reinstated and compensated for unfair dismissal. The same is going to happen to Folau he will win his case. Verbal warnings don’t stack up, it is reported that there is nothing in his contract to suggest what he post’s on social media is a sack able offense. Personally i don’t give a stuff, but like the other footballers who posted nasty sex attacks on social media and were not punished there seems double standards here. Heavy fines, but sacked from your job, it will be turned over.

Scott rubbishes comparisons of Ablett booing with Goodes saga

Most Aussie’s don’t like pimps who run to the schoolteacher and tell on them.

Scott rubbishes comparisons of Ablett booing with Goodes saga

Winmar and Farmer were rarely booed. Thomas was because people did not like him….. A regular stager and a fair bit of sniping as well.

AFL apologises for failures in Goodes saga

Folau has been sacked, but it is not over by a long shot. Common sense will prevail and he will win. You can not be sacked in any job for having a opinion on stupid social media. Employees have to have 3 written notices and that still does not guarantee the sack.

Scott rubbishes comparisons of Ablett booing with Goodes saga

I don’t Boo,and have no problem with it. I don’t give a stuff about after life, not offended by name calling or peoples opinion, and i believe we will still be saying sorry in 20 years time.
